I was watching Mansu at his desk the other night when I noticed his name plate written in Korean.
But above him on the wall was "BONJOUR", a French name written in English for a Korean food company specializing in tofu.
Was there ever any explanation for how they chose that name? Or is it possibly more pretentiousness on Grandma's part (as the owner)?

I don't get it either. But hey, wasn't Baekho's mom drinking Bonjour-brand soju last night?

They talked about a USA branch in one episode. Maybe it's a multinational company.

i remember someone being like "bong sua sounds like 'bonjour,' and she did study in france..." it's interesting
i remember in one later episode with seonjae being planning manager, he has the same metal letters behind his desk on a shelf, but misspelled. it said BONJUOR. and i went XDDD for the whole two minutes you could see it.

This may be OT, but Bonjour is a food company, sooo...
How can these folks eat and drink so much and, except for elder aunt who really isn't fat, and that chunky guy on Danpung's team, everybody's lean?
They eat rice and soup and all those delicius little dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, go out for huge mugs of beer and steak and burgers, NEVER miss the midday meal, have parties with more food and beer, fix wonderful carryout meals in those big cloth napkins for each other, fruit every night, tea or coffee and some kind of sweet when visiting, and on and on.
I thought nobody could beat Italy as a country whose culture is driven by eating, but after living through seven K-dramas, I'm not so sure. And Italians tend to gain weight. (I know whereof I speak.)

They're young! When I was in my 20's and 30's, I ate ice-cream everyday. Now, I wouldn't dream of eating it even once a week. It's a rare treat for me. I love red wine, but if I drink it, the next day, I'm a pound heavier! Getting old stinks!!!!!!

We haven't seen that happen yet, because he doesn't start as planning manager until after his wedding. Maybe this week. I missed the Bong Sua "bonsoir" reference… what's next… Merci Baekho?

They are constantly eating but I've noticed several characters including Sua, Jiyeong, and Miae say that they can't or don't want to eat so they don't get fat. They would have a long way to go to be fat. Apparently stick thin is desirable in Korea.
Merci Baekho - Good one zorro!!! ;D
