I could swear that that weird veterinary assistant called Danji's owner his "hyeong" (older brother) last night. Isn't that cute? I think it was translated "brother" in the subtitles. Then he revised it to "owner." I thought it was sweet. Funny how handsome, kind, suitable men always seem to turn up out of the blue in the lives of our drama heroines. Oh, well, Jiyeong has been through enough. It's also funny that, no sooner did we learn that the guy is unemployed (you could almost hear an imaginary "Wah-wah woooh" sound effect of disappointment when Jiyeong's dad learned that fact), than we cut to Mansu's office, where they're talking about some unnamed talented researcher who is being courted to join the company. Wonder who that could be?? Although Danji, like many animals on Korean dramas, appears to be sedated to within an inch of his life, I love that little fuzzball. He's such a little baby!

Yeah, he really is. He seems very sweet. I like the way he makes up excuses to keep coming back to the clinic. "Oh, Danji was whining for you ... he won't eat...." I guess the only cure for Danji's woes is for Jiyeong to marry into the family so Danji can see her all the time. Poor little comatose pup.

It appears that this clinic only treats cute, tiny little dogs. I've never seen anyone bring in a dog that they weren't cuddling it in their arms.

The first time we saw Jiyeong at the clinic, she was treating a hamster. But after that its only puppies and little dogs!

I didn't know they treat any animals, it looks like all they do is hold them once in a while. And, did you ever notice how quiet it is for an animal clinic?

"Hyeong" is what a boy or man calls his older brother. That's what I thought the veterinary assistant called the owner of Danji, jokingly.

Thay can't be grown dogs. I think they're puppies and SHAME on the producer, director, whoever, for sedating them because they certainly look zonked. Either that of they're scared whenever somebody holds them. The ones in the cages seem to jump around a bit. There was a tied dog in another drama (can't remember which one) always in the center court of the household, always on a short lead, always interested in what was going on although nobody seemed much interested in him.
I'm one of those crazy dog ladies, so pardon the vehemence.

And BTW, that VA, Eulsu is his name, I think. He's seems very nice and caring and Jiyeong and he appear to be friends. But has anyone else noticed that Jaebok is rather short with him. A few eps. ago, Eulsu commented about something and Jaebok said, "Go make the coffee," sort of rudely and the poor VA just smiled and replied, "That's what I do well."

Oh, puppy, I think you're talking about "Bizarre Bunch." I think the dog's name was Bokgu. They used to talk to him and interact a bit, but yeah, he was tied up ALL THE TIME. That is WRONG.

Maybe this new man isn't going to be a couple with Jiyeung after all, now that her sunbae has come back. He's the one who's the scientist at BonJour Foods. Oh, well, competition is good, for a bit. So maybe JY can introduce nosy aunt to the dog owner--what a pain she is, Is he good looking, I should meet him, said in her predatory interferring way.
