Now that we are coming to the end of the DJY series I would have to say that I would cast my vote for Gulsabiwu as the character that I have grown to respect the most. He has continually shown to be the strong, confident, dependable quiet type that is seen through his deeds and actions. Whereas DJY was born to be a leader, Gulsabiwu has earned the respect of his comrades as an ethical, caring and determined individual. I'm sure that that's what Geumlan saw in the last eps.

You should make an official poll of this, snoopdog, with multiple choices; it would be interesting to see what people say.

For me it's a tie between Geom and Geumlan… Geomlan?
With Gulsabiwu as a very close third.

Thanks Nalbal, but I really don't know how to set that up. I'm not very computer literate.

The first time ever I saw Biwu, brooklyn, I thought he was going to be the star of the series. He had such an intense look and powerful presence. I was disappointed when the lead actor turned out to be Choi Sujong. But now I'm completely happy with his portrayal of DJY. In spite of his humorlessness, he has the skills to sustain interest in the character. Gulsabiwu is great in some of the short, dramatic scenes but I doubt he could have carried the show quite so well.

Oh, respected character. We're not at the end here so my opinion might change but so far it has to be DJY himself. You just KNOW he's going to do the honorable thing. And Sukyeong for the female character. She has none of the tough training of Geumlan or Chulin but she's right up there in courage and determination.
