;D Some years ago, I worked in a medium size law office. We had a huge room with tables and chairs, micro, frig etc to use as a lunch and break room or whenever we just needed to get away from our desks. There was always a good-sized group that sat together and talked. One lunchtime, soon after I joined the firm, I came into lunch about 15 mins after the rest and the girls and some of the guys too , were having a VERY animated conversation about someone they all seemed to know. I listened and eventually someone said they thought this person most probably had terminal cancer and didn't want her family to know - that subject went around and I asked if this person was related to one of the girls at the table because she seemed so upset. As a group, they all turned their heads to look at me in astonishment!! Then they all started laughing - they were all talking about a character from the nighttime soap DYNASTY! LOL - I had never seen it and was totally unfamiliar with any characters. I've never forgotten that and I know how some of my family must feel when I start to talk about characters in a K-drama ...!

No witch in a k-drama has come close to Joan Collins!

I think her character and Screechy Mom would come in tied for that honor - telling your DIL that you'll get a surrogate mother is she doesn't get pregnant as fast as you want her to....yep - SM gets my vote!

I so wanted to get into Dynasty but never got past the first few episodes - those shoulder pads and all that big hair. Now the K-dramas speak to me, seem more real even tho I'm from a different culture. Go figure.

So true Kfan. I loved John Forsythe and Linda Evans though, was it? Yeah, the fashion was really out there lol.

What's with the woman who sits across from Baekho?
I thought she couldn't stand him, but yesterday she was practically throwing herself at him. She claimed she was just being a good senior, but something's fishy. That sideways look that the guy with the glasses gave her was priceless.
And didn't the other one that sits next to him say her heart fluttered when he was singing?
I guess he's a lot more likable now.

;D They know he is the "son" of the Chairman - the girl who suddenly decided she was lacking in advising him as his senior and now wants to "help" - she overheard a conversation where the words Chairman's son were uttered in reference to Baehko - so just like his former gold-digger girlfriend, she has her own agenda to snare Baehko - Even Dangpung was looking at her with a quizzical look on her face.

I wondered if Danpung's look was, Ooh, someone else is interested, hmmmm, he is kind of cute..... But then she doubledated with the other golddigger, so maybe I was wrong. It's probably what you said, How come she changed??

Ginny, I think its a little of both. Sometimes Danpung looks like she's green when she sees the vainpot batting her eyelashes at Baekho!

Jugyeong is cracking me up now though. Reminds me of my awkward high school days.

Jugyeong, yups that's her name! lol, Brooklyn, in high school I wished I had that problem. I was very talkative and friendly with everyone. To me, no-one was a stranger as I would go up to them and introduce myself and just make friends. EXCEPT if I really liked a guy. Then with him, I was tongue-tied and couldn't even make simple conversation. And once I heard a guy I liked say I was so stuck-up because I couldn't even make myself look at him. Stupid, right?! Talk about awkward!
