I just spoke with the people at WOCH and was told that when DJY ends, they'll be running the King Sejong series for us.
I thanked them for that and told them it was very good news. It's great that they'll be running another historical series, even if this one isn't the wartime kind of series we've gotten used to. Definitely something to look forward to, and for a lot of us it will probably help avoid the withdrawal we went through after IYSS ended.

I am not going to let those plebs at Comcast deprive me of my favourite Television programming . These K Historical Dramas have led me to haunt the library and order gobbles of books on Korean History through world cat ,so i have gone tooooo far to turn back now .

I thought I saw somewhere that King Sejong had already started in Chicago? Is it going to run in the same time period as DJY? Also, it sounds pretty peaceful. If there are no battles, where will the conflict come from?

Mong-ah comb-ee-dah, pay-ahh. Thanks for the info, ajk. After watching DJY, I can't really imagine going straight into a modern soap opera. But as jo asked-- do you know when they'll start showing "The Great King Sejong", and at what time/ what days? (DJY has been at perfect times for me, because Mon. and Tues. nights are the only nights that I'm home)

Well, I asked the guy what was going to replace DJY and he told me the Sejong series, so I assume that it will run in DJY's time period. He didn't quote me the days and times, but that's how I understood him and I think it's a safe bet (especially since IYSS also ran in that slot).
Hmmm, wonder why Scott Bae is posting to a Facebook group and not here? Somebody should let him know that WOCH has a whole bunch of hardcore viewers here.

Jo Chicago SEJONG is Yi Dynasty circa 15th century ,he is famous for creating the Korean Alphabet ,as far as war this is as far from DJY is you can get the only thing he ever did was subdue Tsushima and the Wako (Japanese Pirate's ). Of all the Yi Dynasty Kings ,Sejong was famous for bringing peace and prosperity . I would imagine this is more for Dae Jang Geum fans . This is not to knock it myself i enjoy both .
