Thanks for the info, alex. I always like to find out about the Koryo warriors, and actors.
1, here's some additional items about Jin-jae from the book "Generals and Scholars" by Edward J. Shultz:
"Pak Chinjae's soldiers may have assisted Choe Chunghon in his early consolidation."
"As seen in Myongjong's reign, many of the key figures had retainers who were little more than close confidants...Pak Chinjae is reported to have had a significant number as well."
"Pak Chinjae led the first attack against the monarchy in 1197 when, pointing to the king's ineffectiveness, he called for Myongjong to be ejected from office..."
"With so much power accumulating under Choe Chunghon, it is possible he contemplated becoming king. In fact, his nephew, Pak Chinjae spread a rumor: "My uncle plans to do away with the king." Besides marking the rupture in relations between Pak Chinjae and Choe Chunghon, this incident must have forced Chunghon to abandon any plans he might have had of usurpation."

Welcome to the board, norma. I see that you're watching from Delaware! Wow! I think you may be the first Delaware member. What kind of channel do you watch Korean drama on?

Thank you for the warm welcome. I watch all the korean shows on WYBE public broadcast. I have seen AOW which was my favorite but it is a little overshadowed by IYSS. I also watch MSMD at midnight every night . We are on chapter 32 of IYSS so I try not to read too much of the board on it but it is really tempting.
