Wait, I thought NY and NJ were at the same. NY is at 63 Jan 30th. That's so weird. Anyway, someone asked already but I gotta ask again for emphasis. Why is it that when Dongji gets tea/fruit for Grandma and guest, Dongji lingers around when no one's talking to or with her? Is she waiting for grandma to insult her or throw something in her face? lol irritating. here in chicago, we are on ep 50 as of yesterday..

OK, so we're about 10-12 eps ahead of you here in NY and Northeast PA, Pippibella. And Dongji is still acting like the spiny little hedgehog thing outside my front door that you're supposed to scrape your shoes on. I never thought any character could tee me off as much as chickenfoot Jongsun but if Dongji doesn't let loose soon...

puppy, I appreciate your lovely comments so far, but you're teetering on the edge of "spoiler" territory, here and in a couple of the other threads. I know I'm being strict about it, because you're not really giving anything away, but I wanted to mention it now in case you slip in future. Some people really don't want to know anything at all about what the future holds, even if it's just 2 weeks in the future. Thanks!

Since I watch it on KBS America (we get very weak reception on channel 41 ), I'm careful to make sure I don't add any comments which are spoilers to the regular "non-spoiler" threads. It's a great show, and my wife and I really enjoy it, and all of the characters. This may not be feasible, but I wonder if there would be a way to display the current daily episode number for channel 41 on each active drama ? That way, fans outside of Chicago (and those like me who watch shows on satellite) could take notice of it, and it could help to guard against having spoilers posted on the other threads.

We've said in a couple of different threads what episode we're on as of a certain date. I can't help thinking that the onus is on the posters outside of Chicago to read that and take it into consideration when posting, but if other people think differently, I'm willing to hear suggestions. I don't think it's possible to display the current daily episode that's being broadcast in Chicago. It sounds like an awful lot of work to me, and I don't know of anything in the current Proboards interface that will let us do it automatically. I'm not the mod for this particular board, though. I'm just freelancing because I am a moderator who watches the show, and I haven't seen much other spoiler-quashing activity. Someone needed to do it.

I noticed that too, Pippibella. There seems to be slight warmup but not so's Dongji can relax. Last nite, MIL told Dongji to take her credit card and buy a new dress See, again, I don't remember this happening. When is the parents' dinner?? As far as I know, there has been no formal talk of this. But you posted in another thread that what you've been watching seem to have snippets cut here and there!

That isn't what you meant, is it? MIL gives her credit card to Dongji? I don't remember that, either. (Puppy isn't in Chicago.)

You might be right, but the impression I get is that Dongji feels lonely and is hoping MIL and guest (usually Mrs. Na) will ask her to sit down and join them to chat.

Sorry Lucy. But sometimes I get so worked up about an episode I just want to spill. I'll be very careful in future and consider those who don't want their enjoyment spoiled.
As for Dongji, all I can say is Sheesh!!!

The apology seems to be unaccepted as this harping on the spoiler thing keeps going on! And the exaggeration to say that it appears in almost every thread. Just as spoilers, this harping on their mistake also takes enjoyment out of visiting the forum. I am not sure where Puppy's physical location has to do with it. I could be right next door to you but as long as I have internet access to the online videos, I could be just 4-5 episodes behind what they are showing in Korea. Physical location is nothing in the global landscape we live in.

Kfan, the location is relevant as to what episode that person may be currently viewing, if they are viewing it on OUR local Channel 41. As has been stated repeatedly, this is a CHICAGO board and the postings for the daily shows and the twice weekly dramas are expected to be in line with what episode number is CURRENTLY showing on WOCH-Ch41. The local people who watch this on some other form know this and so do others who post from various locations, such as Mikey from Arizona and Cyuser from Korea/Sweden. UKFan posts from outside the USA but manages to know what a spoiler is. They have their location listed in their profile and none post spoilers where they should not be. Obviously, some people are a lot more considerate than others. Sort of like Dopngji.

Right, so all the acceptance of Pilseung's and Puppy's mistakes were just false acceptance of their "mistakes". They were not genuine mistakes, but deliberate inconsiderate acts!
yes, some people are like Dongji. Very self-serving. Pretends to go along but inside they think otherwise!

That's true Soapygrams, I didn't think of that.

kfan, you are quite mistaken. each reiteration of the reminder has followed a new instance of spoiler material being revealed, by new people joining the discussion who have not read through the threads (or apparently seen the reminder at the top of the board on the Welcome page, reminding people that this is a Chicago-based board and asking people to be careful). we are just as tired of having to write the reminders as you apparently are of reading them. but not nearly as tired as I am of having my enjoyment spoiled.
