hmmm... I don't know Lucy, DJY has wonderful round puppy eyes - I know, I know that description puts me in the category of a 5th grade girl. Seonjae's eyes look like thin slits... sneaky and snakelike. If after thoroughly enjoying Choi Sul-jong as DJY, I would have a very difficult time watching him play Seonjae.

Seonjae really is getting a "snakier" (or should that be sneakier?) look in his eyes, and looks more cold and calculating in general ... far different from the way he looked with Jiyeong on the beach a few short weeks earlier!

I think we mentioned before that Seonjae is played by the actor who was Kyle, the Concierge in Mr. Good-by.

I find that I can't hate seonjae... maybe that shower scene hypnotized me lol but seriously, I would hate him more if Jiyeong wasn't so clingy and if Miae would just let it go.

He is a snake all right, and the very sneaky slithering kind! well, greedy and selfishness changes a person inside and out.. JERK sorry, but this character really get me..

I don't like how he dumped Jiyeong but till now, I can't see them as a real couple. They've really drifted apart. Plus Jiyeong has no dignity the way she clings to him. And her Aunt also has no dignity the way she won't let the matter go. Even if he didn't marry Sua, it was a close save from marrying ino that family

Yes, I'm partial to CSJ myself, and I think he's very cute, but to me there's still a resemblance with Seonjae. I think it's more in the cheekbones and mouth--the overall "set" of their faces.

Resurrecting this "Seonjae" thread to say, WOW, is he getting evil. I'm really glad he got his comeuppance, though I do see his side of it. He's their superior, so why should they go around him and over his head with the seafood dumplings when he already said no? On the other hand, his father-in-law gave him a very good reason why he reconsidered the dumplings: there are other things to think about in business besides profit, including image.
Seonjae is such a piece of work. He is really going nuts now, probably thinking about how much easier his life would be with kind and understanding Jiyeon. But he wouldn't have the job, and he would have a whole other set of problems with Jiyeon, especially the fact that his stupid, shallow mother hates her.

Yeah, but at least it would be less stressful than constantly putting up with Sua's tantrums all the time. He had a good job but he just wanted to take the quick and easy way to the top.

I like what you said about Seonjae "going nuts" Lucy. I think he is too but not in a "acting a little weird right now" way. I think he's REALLY losing touch with reality. His behavior points to more than jealousy. He's not normal.

Yes, they went over his head, but we didn't see the meeting of the planning committee that rejected the dumplings. I bet he forced them to agree with him. He only rejected it out of jealousy about Jiyeong- with Baekho and Ujin. He's so evil. Just a jealous wretch, except he seems to have affection for his mother. He's so good at being bad. ;D

I was tempted to post yesterday that he commits suicide rather than stay with Sua and see Jiyeong with Ujin. Then after everybody screamed at me all day for spoiling the ending, I would yell APRIL FOOLS! But I chickened out.

That would have been a bold move zorro. Although some of us would like to smack some sense into him, we wouldn't want that to happen. You're funny! Glad you chickened out. ;D

(Sheathing my mighty moderator's sword now.) I'd like to think I wouldn't have believed you, but you never know!

Since he's the Manager of the Planning Committee, they could have just trusted his judgment. I'm sure a small part was all about profits for him, but I think the biggest reason is to knock down Baekho. When Mansu asked Baekho how the dumpling idea was coming along, Seonjae butt right in before Baekho could even say anything. Then he gave that evil smirk that shows his animosity towards Baekho.
