Thanks for the links, aosy. I wasn't sure Choi's looks were heroic enough for the character at first, but his acting is sooo wonderful I paid attention. And now I think he's GORGEOUS!

It's amazing how makeup and wardrobe can change anyone. Another great quality of Choi Su Jong is his voice.  |

Happy to be of service. Yes it does changes the look. I have seen some other clips of another of Choi Sujong's drama called the Legend of Ambition which was broadcasted in 1998. In that year, Choi won three awards which included the Grand prize, similar to the one he just won for DJY.
In those clips, Choi gave a superb performance which explained why he swept quite a bit of the awards that year. But unfortunately, I was not able this drama on sale at KBS e-store. I have written to them but yet to receive a reply. Maybe if KBS receive more requests, they may consider put it at their e-store and even showing re-runs. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

I have only seen Choi Sujong in Emperor of the Sea and Dae Jo Young. I too have looked for other DVD's but have not found them. We know that AZN-TV did respond to our e-mails to broadcast the remaining episodes of DJY. It might be good to encourage them to look at other Choi Sujung dramas. Does anyone know what AZN's ratings are for dramas? Would they make more money by showing dramas than infomercials?

Good question...i have been planning to write an e-mail to them to air Yi Soon-shin and to promote it in a few areas-- college campuses (especially working with Korean Student clubs), and commercials on sci-fi shows that have Story arcs (like Battlestar Galatica).
i think the commercials could be most "attractive"...i will try to work on my proposal letter & post it.
As for Choi Sujung..."Emperor Wang Guhn" was a magnificent series...certainly one i would love to see again!

I always love seeing the actors out of character-- it's amusing to see a man go from wearing a heavy suit of ancient armor to blue jeans and a T-shirt. I love the one with the glasses... |

Not only did it garner some of the highest ratings of any K-drama, (as high as 65.8 percent!), it features Choi Su-jong as the male romantic lead along with a stellar cast that featured Bae Yong Jun, Choi Ji-woo, Park Sang-won, and Lee Seung-yun..... |

I agree with our Moderator JP lets start another AZN Campaign for "YI SOON SHIN ."
,Many of us have never seen it ,its reputation is stellar and being almost 3 years old AZN could get it for next to nothing .

I have to agree also that Choi Su Jong is sooo gorgeous and sexy. I can't wait to sees this gorgeous actor in person. Does anyone have anything of Choi Su Jong drama or movie to sell or to share?
