I phoned KBC this morning and asked if they would please show the missing episode, #117. The woman said there is a problem with the tape itself, and they are unable to show it. I asked, "You mean, ever?" and she said not ever. It's cold comfort, but at least we know.  |

but at least we got to see the Smirkster stab himself in the eye. I was completely unprepared for that. Next Monday's episode should be extraordinary.  |

Aw, Kaigu doesn't need that eye. He never could see both sides of an issue anyway.
(Seriously, though, did they really need to show us that? I thought the blood-drinking scene in #44 was pushing it just a little, but this blew it away. And I don't see how it makes the character more interesting. Quite the contrary.)
Anyway, thanks for making the call, pip--but they sure gave you a strange answer. If there was a tape problem with #117, then why didn't they just skip to #118 and go from there? Hmmm....

i read that those watching in Hawaii on cable channel 81 can see it from their on-demand menu.
Wish it were on-line!!!!

Normally anything is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but in this case the only other choice offered was his immediate execution… which would *you* choose?  I was amazed he showed no pain, not even a flinch, which is surprising given his propensity to do so at any opportunity. The guy is resourceful and resilient to say the least. But his life spared aside, he's delusional if he thinks for one minute he can defeat DJ or even Danny boy with one eye. No depth perception. If he thinks he was seeing things when he sparred with Geom a while back, he's in for even bigger surprises the next time. It's a shame because I was starting to like him a lot more lately. Like Xue, his passion for his cause and people is admirable. He doesn't back down from anyone either, even Wu Zetian… even Xue can't make that claim. I hope they don't try to bump him off in the meantime. I kinda doubt it with Geom's character getting so much more play now. Remember when Danny boy and Geom were inseparable? Now Dan's nowhere to be seen outside of a cameo or two standing behind Sukyeong… and what's with DJ calling her "wife"?? He's nicer to Chulin and Geom than his own family. WUWT? |

Since we are never going to see #117, does anyone know how DJY avoided a battle with Muchuo when DJY and his troop had surrounded the fort containing Xue, Muchuo and Li Kaigu? Last seen we saw in #116 showed poor Geom forced to beg for his father's life. Episode #118 starts with Li Kaigu having escaped from DJY in Fort Ainsi. I know that DJY gave him the choice to drink poison, which he did not take, and that Li Kaigu promised something -- either not to escape or to be loyal to DJY -- and broke that trust.
But darn it, I still don't know how DJY convinced Muchuo and Xue not to fight him!

AZN should air it because they have a differant print (i hope )so if you have Comcast you should get to see it .
Now i will stop griping about AZN Chopping off the opening and closing credits and never showing the preiviews (anymore ).
The KBS E store is another route but they do not have all the episodes they claim to have, i missed the episode where Yang Man Chun was killed ,but its not availible ,and i have heard the same complaints from people trying to buy Yi Soon Shin certain episodes (of course all the big battles )are not availible either .
