I am so totally impressed with all the K-dramas you guys have watched. I'm up to my seventh one and already getting mixed up. WMBC-TV (out of New Jersey) broadcasts one on week nights (L or N) and another on weekends (DJY) that I watch in PA. There's a Pan Asian station in NY but it's mostly variety, news and religion and mostly in Chinese and Japanese with occasional Korean movies. But I never see the award shows or the other K-dramas I read about here. You get 4 at once in Chicago, right? Is KBS the way to go? How do I get it? Are the shows (dramas, etc) subtitled? Right now my only catch-up resource are the CD's but I don't know which are worth the $$ (Emperor of the Sea certainly is) and which I can pass up.

Hi, Everyone! I'm glad to see people are posting on this forum, but bear in mind that it's best if you start a new thread if you have a new question. I know we all tend to drift within threads, myself included, and there's nothing wrong with that, but when one thread starts becoming a catchall, it gets unwieldy. If later you want to find a comment on a particular subject, it makes it harder to do so if the threads don't have anything to do with their subject lines anymore. LOL. Thanks! I had called Sua "Paris Sua" aka Paris Hilton, back on page 4. More and more she lives up to that title, even down to the way she pouts. I wonder if she is fighting for Seonjae because as of now she can't have him. I think she might eventually get him and then it won't be as exciting to her. She wants everything and tries even harder when she is told no. The way the three witches (like in Macbeth) Grandma, Sua and Mrs.Na (Seonjae's mom) kiss up to each other, giggle and talk soooooo phony sweet to each other is repulsive. I was shocked when Mrs. Na slapped sweet Jiyeong in the face. Not that I wouldn't put anything past her, but she's really going too far. Why do the characters always keep secrets and not confide in someone when something happens? I'm glad Miae finally got it out of Jiyeong, although she never mentioned the slap in the face. Even though Miae is a brat herself, I have a feeling we'll like her better because I think she will stick up for Jiyeong against Seonjae's mom. She definitely is a spitfire. I sure hope Miae gets a few shots at Mrs. Na's face. That wouldn't be right now would it? Last night when Sua answered Seonjae's phone when Jiyeong called and told her he was asleep, Sua's face looked more devilish than ever. Kind of like the look on the Grinch's face when he was up to no good.

I think Baekho's character is starting to grow some. I know he still does some immature things and tends to have the "Midas Touch" for messing things up, but his heart seems to be in the right place. I think he genuinely cares for people in the home and at work. It was his fault with the tofu sample because he was a piggy, but he did try and rectify the problem. He definitely cares for his mother and worries about her. I think he's not as lazy as he was before either. He came up with an idea at work and really wanted to see it through. I think he will continue to mature and make something of himself at Bonjour Foods.

Somebody gave Sua the nickname "Fish Lips", and it seems to fit She's also got mean eyes whenever she's angry or pouting about something. I thought you did. BTW danpoong&seonjae's father was in Emperor wanggun.

No, I can't take any credit for naming her "Fish Lips" ... someone else came up with that, and it really fits

For some reason, I muted the sound for part of the show, and realized that Sua's whining, high pitched voice really adds to her being so annoying. With a different voice and skirts that at least covered part of her long bony, skinny legs, she might not be so bad.

YES! and if she didn't have fish lips and rat eyes, that would help as well.

YES! and if she didn't have fish lips and rat eyes, that would help as well. That's for sure, Kathleen! You nailed it right on the head. She can certainly get the meanest looks when she sees Baekho, Dongji, or Jiyeong .

lol teacher, I mute the TV when Sua and chicken dance are on too. Sua's voice is yucky and Seonjae's is kinda yucky too.

It seems that Sua might be acceptable if she got rid of her eyes, lips, voice, choice of wardrobe, long skinny legs and personality. That doesn't leave much left to redeem her, does it?
