Is anyone else thinking about the vet's office in "Who's My Love?" It was weird, too. It didn't have the "pet store" aspect, but it wasn't like any vet's office I've ever been in. It was not very professional, and the vet didn't act like a doctor. It was more like a groomer's office where they would also board pets and keep sick puppies. Then they would take the puppies out and look at them/hold them for a while, tell them to stop having diarrhea or whatever, then put them back. As far as I could see, they weren't treating any animals or doing medical examinations. And Mr. Chicken-Eyes, as I said, didn't act like a doctor. He got no particular respect from the employees or his family as a professional and just seemed like sort of a schmo, even in his own animal hospital ("Happy House").
This makes me wonder what vets' offices are really like in Korea, if maybe animals don't get the best of care and it's like the vet is just a combination giver-of-inoculations/groomer/babysitter.

Like in that old BBC show, "Connections", thing have come in a circle here: Chicken Eyes later played a character with a very young wife, in "Don't Worry"/"Age Is Nothin' But A Number". And that actress now plays the same sort of vet at the same sort of pet care place.

I was going nuts trying to remember where I had seen that actress before, and thanks to you, now I know. Thanks, Soju, for jogging my memory.

And I love this conversation:
"The dog's skin condition is worse." "Give him an injection and some medicine."
Right-y-o, doctor. That's a brilliant course of therapy you've prescribed. I think I'll give him an injection of, say, Botox, and maybe rub on some Icy Hot. Will that do?"

Icy Hot is an excellent medium for xerox transfer, although your artwork will smell quite minty for some time. LOL.
