Hey, what's the story with the peppermint candies, anyway? I know the lawyer keeps eating them, and I think he gave one to Sora, but have we seen other people with them, or have we seen them in other scenes? Thanks!

The peppermint candy first appeared in the opening sequence of the first episode, in Hae-in's vision of the killing of Tae-Hoon. Tae-Hoon had a bag full of the stuff. When he was knifed, it spilled on the ground.
When the first cop met Hae-in at the scene, she told him, "His mom likes peppermint candy."

At the funeral for Det. Kang's lawyer, as Oh Seung-ha is leaving the visitation area, we see that a single peppermint has been left atop the coffin.
