I love Eu-jun. i think she is really growing up and wanting to be humble instead of always thinking or herself

Honestly, I'm having a hard time liking anyone in this rather dull drama series. I've got an emotional attachment to aunt (Myeong-ju) but only because I've loved the actress in her previous roles. Here, she's getting boring pretty quickly. Ji-su is sure pretty, but her unyielding attachment to Mr. Loser (Mu-yeong) is starting to wear thin with me. I kind of like the elder Grandmother, but I have to agree that the once spoiled and self-centered Eun-ju has been really growing on me lately. She even looks prettier than she did when the series began. So, she gets my vote, too.

I'm kinda with you mikey. I'm not very attached to any character and frankly am more annoyed... If my comparison is WML and/or Winter Sonata, most of the current dramas fall flat.
I do like elder grandmother - and aunt is good in every role she plays. And yes, Eun-ju has certainly done a 180 - and she IS prettier than before.
Oh, and I like her father very much... probably my favorite character come to think of it.

Elder Grandmother gets my vote. I don't know how she's going to correct the upbringing of Myongtae after all this time, but I bet she thinks of something. She won't give in and spoil him some more, anyway. Heh, heh. ;D He's incredibly greedy.

I like elder grandmother too. But my favourite person at the moment is the Aunt. She's cute. She's frank but can be tactful and gentle when she wants. She is smart in handling her cunning daughter-in-law and her often-childish mother. I liked Jisu's father but now they are a couple, he's even better. They have great chemistry so sometimes I forget its only a show Although she is old, she is still innocent and at times has a childlike quality about her. She can laugh at herself. Although she is much younger than her siblings, she is more mature than the money-mad brother and sour-looking sister!

The "sour-looking" sister was on an afternoon show a while back, but I don't think it was subtitled. She was a rich woman whose husband was having an affair, I think. Anyway, the woman can look elegant instead of overworked!
In that show, the furniture in their house was beautiful. It was inlaid with mother-of-pearl.

"Sour looking sister"? She's not sour looking to me. She looks worn-out as her character should look. She has had to put up with a husband who for all his wonderful ways, forgets the rule that charity BEGINS AT HOME. He lost his business, then he lost HER restaurant. In addition, she was fighting a very scary brain tumor/illness. And she has put up with her useless whining brother with good grace and even endured his totally rude and ruthless behavior toward her foster son, whom she loves very much. Gee, I think I'd look like a HUGE DILL PICKLE if I had to face all of that - ;D There is something very sweet in her face, the goodness of her soul shines through. The casting director did a great job with this K-drama.

To me, she looks beyond worn-out. That sour looking expression on her face does not leave her face even when things are going right.

Well, I can frankly say who I DON'T like on this show and the number one slot goes to Muyeong, who frankly falls short of the role the actor played in "Infamous Chill Sisters". As Hanam, who is a much similar character to his in this drama, he shined, but he's just terrible in "High as the Sky..." I wish they cast this drama completely differently. Starting from Elder GMa to Eunha, it's a sorry cast, to me. But, Eunha is number two because her baby-like voice is really starting to bug me. Everything seems to drag on this show and there's a lot of useless conversations. But, if I WERE to pick a favorite, my vote would either go to Sanghyeon or Eunju. They've both developed a little further than the rest of the cast and their interaction with one another is a lot more interesting to watch than say Eunha, Muyeong, or Jisu.

I agree with you Bae, I like these two. Seeing the constant change in her character is making her more and more watchable.

I like Muyeong. He's a good son. I don't see him as whiny. I truly do not understand what the H he is doing with Eunha. She is annoying. And if he's not good enough for Jisu, how in the world is he good enough for Eunha? Are his parents going to be so grateful that he befriended her and got her through school that they'll let her marry him one day? And where is his much-vaunted inferiority complex when it comes to her? His reasoning is very weird.

I hate it that she showis up at Muyeon's place without an invitation. Her father is ok, her mother is a nutcase. And Jisu's brother and sister-in-law are especially annoying... Too bad the hot soup didn't land on SIL's head! She has no redeeming qualitities at all! This university plotline should be interresting. I hope M postpones school for a while and helps eldergrandmother. It'll be up to Eunha's mother to stay on her case about study habits. I'm pleased that Muyeong's aunt spoke with him - and brought him comfort in the process

I think my favorite character is Eun-ha. I know I'm in the minority on this ;D.
All in all though, I don't really find any of the characters all that interesting. I wouldn't go as far to say that I'm disapointed in the show, but after two Daily Dramas that I thought were very good, it's a little hard for me to work up much enthusiasm for a show I find rather run-of-the-mill.
