It's always a challenge to get up to speed with the Characters' names in a new drama. It gets even more confusing when different people use different nick-names for the same character. Was "Luxury Girl" the same as "Sno-cone"? It's easier to learn the characters' names if you have a printed chart, so I took the liberty of creating one. It's based on the chart on KBS's site*, but I've added pictures of the characters, as well as the actors' names, both Romanized and in Hangul. It's a PDF, so you need Adobe Acrobat to view and print it; if you don't already have it, you can download it here. The file is here on Megaupload. Please be sure to let me know if there are any problems downloading, viewing, or printing the file, as this is the first time I've tried something like this. *Unfortunately, I copied KBS's mistake, and made Dae-sik a brother of Myeong-ja and Myeong-ju, while Myeong-tae is all alone. You can figure it out anyway, right?
Since the MegaUpLoad dialog is quite confusing, I'm adding some explanation. First, if an ad comes up, click on "Skip this ad" in the upper right corner. In the main dialog, there'll be some letters and numbers to enter into a box. Then, you can click on the 'Download' button. See this: The PDF file should be readable on any operating system that has a PDF viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Beautifully done, Soju!
I know what an effort those things are, so you have my great appreciation! The link fooled me at first, however. I thought I’d been sent to e-Bay! ;D

It looks great here, but when I went to the link it appears to be only for Windows… I couldn't find the file to DL. No worries, I'll just use a magnifying glass and figure it all out.
Like Mikey said, excellent work!

Yes, the "megaupload" pages are really confusing. I had to hunt quite a bit to finally find the download link (as I recall, it turned out to be a little, clickable box over in the upper-right hand corner of the second or third page I encountered).
A pain in the rear . . . but well worth the effort.

Regarding the name mix-up, at least with "Wide As the Sky..." THREE of the major characters don't have names that begin with "Y" and are almost unpronounceable in English! That drove me nuts about "Hearts of 19"; I even screwed up a post on here and then felt so bad about it that my shame led me to refuse coming on this board for a time! Yunhu, Gyungya and Yunyu? ? I give up... I loved "Hearts..." but that did really trip up my Occidental mind....

She usually has a page for each drama with a cast list (even has ages of some of the characters). www.koreanwiz.org/Pure Nineteen: www.koreanwiz.org/at/drama-pureinheart.html

I've added some help on using Mega Upload to my original post. I just printed it on my Mac. Is upload something for a PC? To put it on a desktop or print it?

Mega Upload is a free file hosting service. As far as I know, it is platform-independant. Normally, I use Photobucket.com for hosting images, but they don't support PDFs.
