Ooohh, great spoiler, thanks Soju! Now it all makes sense. I was dying to know why the mystery woman kept spying on this family. But why doesn't the grandma recognize her as their mother? In most Korean dramas I've seen, there is usually some kind of agreement between the birth mom and the adopting family. She raised two of this woman's kids... they must have met at least twice. Anyway, this makes things much more interesting. Thanks again!
That's why I quit watching the show on VOD, and waited for it to come out with subtitles. I could tell she was the mother from the cries of "Omma!", but remained totally confuesd about why she left, where she'd been, etc.
were do you get your spoilers from? any certain board you go to beside this one.
The ones I posted I saw on KBS's web site. They have a thing where you can watch what they're broadcasting over the air, via the Internet, but because of the time-zone difference, it's really early in the morning, Chicago time. There's no subtitles, and nobody was posting any spot translations on Soompi, so I quit watching it that way, since I could not understand what was going on There is a lot of good discussion on Soompi, though; but you need to register with a valid, non-free (no Hotmail) e-mail address.
If you go to KBS's site for the show, a pop-up pops up with a preview of the next episode that will air in Korea, and you will see this even if you are not registered or logged in with KBS. That's how I found the one about Myeong-ju and Jong-hoon getting married. I didn't really want to know that yet, but . . .
You can find a lot of what are spoilers for us Chicagoans if you visit the Southtern California board, since they are the furthest along of any North American market.
The Philly board has a seperate Spoiler thread for this show, I think their regular thread for the show is a couple of eps ahead of us too, so you might get spoiled there, too.
anyone know the outcome of this mess about Eu-Jin not wanting to have a baby. does she change her mind. seems like these two are head for divorce.
They've agreed to part. He's so upset with her, he does not want to have anything to do with her. She is upset about this as she wants to be friends (I thought that's a guy's line!). She says to family and friends that she is happy its over but when she's all by her lonesome self, its a different story. I hope the princess gets a swift kick on her behind soon!
As of the early 80 eps, a number of folks on the Soompi board are getting impatient, since they find the Mu-yeong/Ji-su/Eun-ha relationship to be a two-sided triangle . Seems Mu-yeong doesn't think he's worthy of either.
Also, the guy who proposed to Ji-su is back, as the drama staple of the handsome rich guy who gives it all up for the sake of the woman he loves. The twist is that Ji-su still turns him down.
His father, BTW, is Han Jin-hee ('One Million Roses', 'Farewell to Tears', 'Pure 19').
Some noted how Bong-rye sure seemed to know her way around the kitchen she was working over New Year's.
Turns out she owns a very big, fancy restaurant (and has a car with a driver, too). Mu-yeong starts workiong as a busboy there. Myeong-tae, who does not emmigrate to the US (another story), has found out about his birth mother's situation, and is predicably a jerk about it, going there and playing the boss's son, until she catches him.
