Well, we got the final summary...but still a lot got snipped. KBFD cut out a big chunk that started from Woo's meeting with the ministers after the guy critiqued Woo's calligraphy and gave him "advice" and ended with Woo finding out that CCH had regained consciousness. That's about 11 minutes. Then they cut the entire narration of CCH out after his death which was about 3 minutes more. So CCH's ghost of his younger self disappears, he cries for a bit, cut to commercial, then Ui-bang comes riding in. A bit frustrating, but I would've been more disappointed if the summary were cut, that was amazing (sorry to rub it in to NY/NJ viewers). Thanks to VIB again for the novelization of this episode so I could fill in the blanks on the VOD. I will see if today's rebroadcast brings any of these cuts back in, but I kinda doubt it. Farewell AOW, bring on the Admiral!

As Young CCH said to Old Man CCH: That's a "crying shame" your station cut those parts, mace.
Well, I guess we all got what we could from our stations and made up for the cuts in other ways (KBS website, board summaries and novelizations).
Hey WMBC watchers: Did you know that there was a cut scene with CCH's grandson, Hang, in which CCH collapses?

UHF Channel 17 in NYC showed the whole thing.
I feel that my stingy avoidance of cable has been vindicated.

A happy ending, the missing scenes were shown on the rebroadcast today. Actually it looks like they aired the full episode. KBFD's grace is immeasurable...at least until the next time they cut something from a show I like. ;D

In California we got the entire part after Woo is about to strike Hyang up to the part where CCH is standing on the bridge and dies completely cut out. No young CCH ghost scene...I would have loved to see that. Luckily we did get the summary at the end. BTW, what was the young CCH wearing in the ghost scene? Was he in the armor he was in when the Archfiend got killed?

The ghost of CCH past was definitely vintage "Sneaky Bastard" era. I am not sure if it was the same uniform, but it was military, complete with sword & scabbard. It could have been the outfit he wore when he gave Minister Du the old Benedict Arnold. Too bad they cut that. He was full of BS, even from the spirit world.
