Hwang Jin Yi. Although most people just use Hwang Jini. I'm currently watching this drama. It ends in Korea next week and is currently the 4th highest rated drama over there. I'm glad to see that KBC decided to air it. KBS Hwang Jini ThreadOn a side note, 4 out of the 6 highest rated dramas in Korea right now are historical dramas.

Where did you get your info, knov1? What are the other shows? What info? The drama ratings? I got that info from the TNS website, which is a Korean site for TV ratings. It's basically the Korean equivalent of the Nielsen ratings. The current highest rated dramas in Korea are: 1. The Infamous Chill Sisters (KBS) 2. Jumong (MBC) 3. Pure 19 (KBS) 4. Hwang Jini (KBS) 5. Dae Jo Young (KBS) 6. Yeon Gae So Moon (SBS) This is based on the week of Dec. 11 to Dec. 17. #1 and #2 are basically neck and neck. They could easily swap spots after the ratings for this week are out. Jumong had been #1 in ratings (for a long time) until last week. After taking a look at the ratings it got this week, it's probably going to go back to being #1. The Infamous Chill Sisters airs on weekends so the ratings for it aren't out yet. After #1 and #2 there's a slight drop off to #3 and a bigger drop off to #4, #5 and #6. ps: what make you of HJY so far? Is it worth watching? I think so. If you liked DJG, you'll probably like HJY.

I really dislike Pure in Heart right now. Can't see how it's possibly doing a lot better than Dae Jo Young, to which I'm hooked. I loved DJG. I had terrible withdrawal symptoms when the show ended. Now I'm really really looking forward to HJY. ;D
