That's what Xue Rengui once called Dae Joyoung. DJY looked like a tiger in the opening scene of episode 76, with the diagonal stripes across his face and the predatory look in his eye!
Also in this episode, Jitou got a couple of good closeups. The first one was when the Khitans were searching the stables and Jitou stepped in horse manure. Jitou reminds me a little of one of the comedians on "Gag Concert."
This show perpetuates the show biz device of the laughing villain. Empress Wu Zetian's laugh is chilling! It never signals anything good. Li Wen laughed a lot, too - - though not in this episode! OTOH, the Goguryeons don't laugh except for the rare occasion when something truly funny happens.
All right, so what is everyone's solution for what DJY faces now? Can he possibly tell his father to leave without him? If not, how can he surrender to Tang again? I was hoping for a solution that would let the surviving prisoners walk free, but I'm not sure that looks possible. Other views??
