Tonight was the second time DJ kicked Li Wen on his butt, more than once, I might add. "Butt", once again Li dodges the real challenge and picks on the weakened King and Sukyoung to "capture" Dae and his men. What a (Li) Weenie! And I can't believe he now wants to use "Lurch" to kill DJ in a duel when he'll be so weak from hunger and thirst that even Li himself might actually win against him. He's definitely a candidate for the Hall of Shame.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! When Lurch broke the table, I thought that the actor playing Li was going to start laughing. Only self control kept him in character.

This whole starve-and-fight thing doesn't make any sense to me. If Li Wen is trying to impress everybody by displaying the supposedly amazing warrior that only he was talented enough to catch...starving him to the point of weakness and putting him in a duel that he can't even defend himself in? This only makes DJY look pathetic and cheapens his capture in the eyes of the people Li wants to impress. Fixing the outcome is one thing, but he wouldn't be dumb enough to do it this way.
That aside, though, this is all getting to be a lot of fun. Four different groups of people in this and they all hate each other for one reason or another. Now anything can happen. Xue Rengui's great line: "What is going on? Now we're rooting for Dae Joyoung!?"

This is beginning to be as good as IYSS.

Gotta love that Xue… he comes up with another classic line. ;D So now Li Wen has an "infallable" plan? Going against the Empress has got to be his undoing this time, especially since she now has a new Li… Kaigu. And poor DJ. He keeps jumping out of one fire into another. If he's slaving away at the camp, who will rescue King Bojang?? AJ, of "course" it doesn't make any sense… what fun would that be? The whole duel was preposterous, but I loved it. The contrasting looks on Li's and Xue's, not to mention Wu's faces afterwards were priceless. ;D

I guess you're right, Zorro, if it made sense then Li wouldn't be the idiot that he is. And then of course it comes out that DJY had been starved for six days and the empress stares daggers into Li: "Is this true?" Guess he should have gone for seven.

Frankly, I was surprised that the Empress had the match go on at all. Any dumbell with eyes could see, from the moment the guards dragged DJY in there, that he was weaker than jelly. And "Lurch" was at least three feet taller than him! It was really painful to watch...meanwhile, Her Highness just smiles endlessly. Even Xui had to cover his face with his fan..he couldn't watch. It's as a family member of mine remarked: Xui is a warrior. To him, victory isn't watching another warrior (who's beaten, hungry, and thirsty) get pummeled by some guy who is eight feet tall.

Xui is a true warrior and I think that he found the entire thing rather distasteful. When DJY won the fight he was as delighted as if he were his fight manager. It was a real kick in the head to Li. (nyuk, nyuk, nyuk ) Considering how Dae looked at Li Wen as they were being death marched to some medieval gulag, I'll lay odds Li doesn't have long.

Nalbal you're forgetting the regenerative powers that DJY has through his "Imperial Energy". How else could he poke Wugol in the eyes with fingers from the same hand that was pulverized only moments before? And what do you want to bet that the next time he yells with his mouth wide open, his broken tooth has grown back? And with all the beatings he's taken, and the rocks (which bounced off the ground!) that were thrown at his face by the townies when he was dragged in 6 days ago, wouldn't you think there might be *one* battle scar on his face? Like I said, preposterous… but I love it! ;D

You'd think that after all he's been through, let alone being a warrior, would've done a number on his body, but no...perfect skin and perfect, white teeth (teeth that look even better than mine!)...not one scar to be seen...it is hilarious! And I didn't quite forget about his ever-lasting, imperial energy, zorro---it just seems that it has been rather "stagnant" lately... Look at all the trouble DJY has been getting himself into! And when is Daddy Dae going to rescue Baby Dae (after being rescued himself)? So what that there's great risk! There is supposed to be great risk---the writers wouldn't want the ratings to go down!
