I wonder what Shin Hong offered his bro Sung to go along and betray the nation? One moment Bro #1 is saying, "No way, I serve the King," the next moment you see the high priestess giving a phony prophesy. These two guys are really creepy and are without any loyalty to anyone except to one another.

Actually, I think they're loyal to themselves only. They seem to care for eachother as brothers, but they'd let the other's head hang before they do their own. I seriously dislike the pair. Their creepy looks, cold expressions, and cryptic actions I really could do without. It'd be nice if one of them just disappears and never comes back. Double-trouble really doesn't do it for me.

That's where I dissagree, bowflex; I don't think they really care a whole lot about which master has more power. The one brother (his name slips my mind) seemed totally cold to Namseng, and the other brother...well, I have yet to see. I don't think they could really care less about their masters. And like BAE said, they are c-r-e-e-p-y. I hope one of them dies soon, or something, anything. I'll just hope DJY will finish one of them off ;D!

I thought that in one of the episodes thats what the two brothers were talking about. It was the episode were they first confront each other and thats when you finally know for sure that there brothers. From that moment on it seemed like a competition to me but that episode was so long ago i barely remember it

The way I remember that episode was that the two of them seem intent on becoming Supreme Commander. (even at each others expense) Whether or not they become the *actual* Commander or just pull the strings of their puppet master remains to be seen.
Of the two, I like Hong best. He's very smarmy or swarthy or whatever the word I'm looking for, but he has great ideas and tactics. His eyes are very shifty, it always looks like he's up to no good. The psychological warfare ploy was perfect.

Yeah, Hong has personality. His brother is like a wax figure. So inscrutable.

Shin Hong definitely seems like the smarter of the two. He's also more capable of being evil it seems. And his tactics seem to be the best for any given situation. It's like he knows what to employ for circumstances unforseen. Although the other brother got his master to the seat of SC, Hong is certainly one to watch out for, no matter what position he's in.

I dont know about either of them. Both of them and bu kiwon is going to be the destruction of the country in this drama series. One kept on telling namgeon that yang manchun needs to die then the other is telling namseng that he needs to destroy goguryeo to rebuild it.

I can't wait to see what one of them will make of his knowledge that Li Kaigu is the Korean orphaned son of a general. (I don't remember their names yet.) One used to be a monk, somewhere-him I like, sort of. The other betrayed Korea in YSS and was killed by the Archfiend(Xui) in Age of Warriors-he's so shifty, he makes my skin crawl.

Whatever happened to that storyline??? It was begun some time ago and seemingly dropped. And one that has the potential to be highly entertaining!

Patience, grasshoppers, I'm sure it's coming. With 100 episodes they have to drop some seeds here and there to tease things out. But I agree with all of you; it was quite a development and they shouldn't leave it too far behind.

So where's Bro #2? Busy brushing up his resume for a job at the new Angdong (sp?) Province. If he's a decent baker he can get a gig making steamed buns for Xui!

Nah; the way FeatherDuster eats those buns, Bro #2 would soon be put out of business! At first I though that he was going to be the "Black Rat" (when the "Black Rat" was first mentioned in episode #38), but after seeing him it was obviously not him, lol. That guy has literally dissappeared into thin air!
