Can someone please fill me in on tonight's episode (12/13)? It should have started out with Yunhu seeing Gukhwa sitting at the bench in front of the Han River where Ugyeong had told her that he was going to use the washroom.
I had it all set to record but put in the wrong day...Yay me!

Hey, you didn't really miss anything important, this was more of a setup episode but don't miss tonight or tomorrow (you know how those serials go; leave the cliffhanger for the weekend...)
Anyway, yes, they met at the river and Gukhwa still refuses to give in to her feelings and tell Yunhu that she feels the same for him... Meanwhile, Gwangman (the son-in-law) has told the father-in-law that they plan on moving into a basement apartment and that he doesn't want to work at the communications company for fear of ruining the reputation of the FIL by exhibiting any ineptitude. The eldest daughter is in the kitchen with mom helping with the chores and mom exclaims that her wrist and her feet are sore from doing all of the housework since the housekeeper left to take care of her mother. The daughter is asked to find a replacement, but she says she doesn't know anyone suitable....She inquires as to the salary for the position and finds out that it's $1800 (I think that's per month, but I could be wrong. In any event, it's a figure that makes the daughter perk up). At some point, Gwangman comes in and assumes the duties of peeling the Korean pears with skill and confidence. The mother notices this and compliments him on his abilities. He then notices that she has one of the newest and coolest oven/range appliances and the mother, instead of realizing that she has found her new domestic help, exclaims, "What kind of man pays attention to kitchen appliances!" Meantime, there is a development with Eomji and Mr. Hong, she is selling the diner although Mr. Hong goes to try and talk her out of it....
Yunhu returns for dinner and packs for his 4pm flight the next day, the whole while both he and Gukwha pine for each other.... The next day, he goes to the airport and says goodbye to the family before embarking on the plane for Singapore. As this is happening, Gukwha has not been able to rest the entire night and decides to wash her comforter in a bin out on the roof. As the clock hits 3:20pm she throws on her shoes and begins her run for the airport to try and catch Yunhu. As she runs down the street (looking much like Wonder Woman) the picture freezes on her anguished face.

Thanks! Ah yes, the classic run to the airport before their loved ones leave.

Yes, she had days if not a week or more to say the tiniest thing about her feelings, and all day that day to run to the airport if she wanted to, but she has to wait until 40 minutes before his flight is set to take off. Whatta dope.

Ujeong (sp?) could have set them up with a little explanation..... U knows that GW is getting sick over YH's departure, but YH doesn't know. YH might have tried a bit more if he knew. Oh, well, patience is a virtue.
