Greenhorn. Hillbilly. Redneck. Countryboy. That last isn't so bad, maybe, but mostly they sound like insults to me. Saying that she was raised in the country and so....knows less than he does, isn't as smart, what can you expect from her, and so on. It still doesn't sound cute to me. Well, maybe it's better than a nickname about somebody's nose or ears or something else they can't change. "You'd better smile when you say that" is what they say in Westerns. Yunhu is getting there, anyway.

I noticed that dramaok has Yun-hu call Guk-hwa "My Bumpkin", but has Yun-jeong call her "That farm chick".

The thing Yunhu calls her is kind of an insult, but the way he says it, you know that it's an affectionate yet still teasing nickname. The way Yunjeong says it is just plain rude. Intonation really matters.

Yunhu's character has the most beautiful lines -wanting to be a roof over her head to protect her-money and position have no meaning if you are not at my side-what you see is only a hundreth of what i feel. "Farm girl" is a term of endearment-Heonly says Yang Kukhua when he's unhappy about something.Maybe I,m prejudiced, but I think e's the most interesting character in the drama.

I realize that Yunhu is used to being a manager and all, but is there any reason he can't get any old job to make some money while his dad is being a jerk? I don't understand why he keeps trying to be in competition with his dad's company when he knows it's only making his dad more angry. He should get a job doing anything like Gukhwa until things calm down.

That's what I was wondering, HC. I mean, it's not necessary for him to get jobs in the field he works in when his father is making it impossible for him to find work. I understand that it's not about demeaning himself in anyway, he'd do it if he had to, but while he wants so desperately to prove to his father that he made it on his own, he could get a side job to put food on his table. Maybe not washing cars, but working at a Fast Food place, anything would do really.

Well, he did deliver the milk for GW. What I was wondering is if he is the brains behind UT's software, or as he calls it "content". It would be interesting if he has a better product to offer and his dad, aware of this, is doing all he can to stop him for more than personal reasons. For example, the office where UY works was in discussion about new business ventures and/or lack thereof, and Ugyeong mentioned that they had no contents… and that they could ask for new subscribers online. I didn't really follow that, (much like Yunjeong) but maybe they needed Yunhu's expertise in that area?? If he really loves Gukhwa, he should wear a chicken head and sell eggs.

It would be engineers or software writers who make content, I'd think. The way WiBro or Wibro is capitalized, makes me wonder if it's a trademarked product, or what? I hear the term Bluetooth here a lot in ads. Are they both wireless broadcast? Yunhu's presentation was for teaching with WiBro. Now that he thought of it, anyone can do it, probably. It seems hopeless to me. Wonder if the writers are hazy about all this, too.

I think Ugyeong should give a heads-up to Yunhu that they're looking for content (and cross his fingers that Bingo and Dad don't find out). Then Yunhu should find a front man, like during the McCarthy blacklist era, to sell his content to UT. HA!

Brilliant, Lucy! Uncle Punggu might need a job, if we don't see a real CD soon.

Would they be developing new products then? Hope it isn't like Dilbert-the boss tells them what the product is supposed to do, nevermind if it's physically possible.

Since this episode aired today, this is not a spoiler - I am a bit confused as to whether the offer to Yunhu was made because his father lifted the "ban" or did the CEO of the company truly change his mind and offer the contract to Yunhu independently of Mr. Park??? Any thoughts on that???

Grams, my guess would be that Mr Park senior lifted the ban. Up until today, all of those powerful businessmen were too afraid of Mr Park to ever give Yunhu a chance. I'm just wondering how Yunhu is going to find out why his dad has backed down. Obviously Yunhu will be upset when he finds out that Gukhwa took that bribe money (part of her plan to get him to hate her of course) but eventually he has to learn the truth. I'm just curious as to how that's going to happen and if anyone knows, please post it in the spoilers thread and not here. Thanks.

I also think the Father lifted the ban after he asked Gukhwa if he could trust her.
Yunhu's a smart guy, I bet he figures it out pretty quickly once he sees GW face to face.
And I was thinking she took the money to give YH so he could buy his watch back, but your reasoning makes more sense.
