Okgeum deserves every bit of ill-treatment, I hate that woman to pieces. Afterall, she broke up the greatest couple that could have been; I really loved Gukwa and Uy-geong together. Yeah, she was pretty mean to them. But they are both too nice to be a good pair, on a drama. There's a risk that they'd be boring. Now they each have someone who livens up their situation - and drives them nuts, besides. ;D A bonus is they will "be the making of" their partners. Like the father said, Ugyeong will make her a person. (That's an odd phrasing, but she's been spoiled and childish.) Yunhu has changed for the better, too.

Hmmm...I would place the blame on Ugyeong. If he loved Gukhwa, he should not have given up so easily and acceded to his mother's wish. We know that Okgeum can be persuaded or pressured - look how she eventually accepted Eomji as her MIL, and Yunjeong as her future DIL. If Ugyeong really loved Gukhwa but gave her up because of his mom, then he's a wimp. But, I don't think he really loved her, because he did not give up on Yunjeong despite his mother's opposition. And let's face it - all of this had to happen so the Ugyeong-Yunjeong and Gukhwa-Yunhu pairings could occur.
