BAE, who mentioned a long-lost twin? Help..... I think it was loving1979 that suggested that GH was a lost twin of sorts.... and this is certainly surprising if true.... So far, no one seems to know what's going on about that tidbit....

on some of the spoilers on KBFD TV, someone was saying that GH IS NOW CALLING WK AND WS BROTHER AND SISTER NOW. and someone mention that she was a lost twin of the hong family i am not sure how that is true. i just think that wk and ws ask her to call them brother and sister.

Took 94 episodes of cleaning/polishing for GH to learn how to learn a bike and start delivering milk [gas station side job after]: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyMwhyvSEOESide note: it's GH singing drama theme song YH and GH marriage may be towards last 10 episodes? Is this the theme song you are talking about? Would you happen to know what the name of this song is? Otherwise I'll just have to run an audio capture of this clip. If I knew the name of the song I could probably find it somewhere on the net if I searched hard enough. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVE1jIBlsj0I really must get this song. It's kinda stuck in my head. I sure wish I could get an English translation.

A couple of days ago I saw an episode around 82 or 83, and in it the grandfather was telling Emoji about his life growing up. He said that during the war his parents died and he was on his own. He worked or learned the tailor trade and married the daughter of the tailor. He said that as soon as they were married she became sick and he took care of her for two years before she died. It was an interesting story of his life, but it was short and away from the story line a little, but the part I didn't really understand is that he had three sons. His wife was always sick, and died two years after they were married...... not enough time to have three kids. So I guess what I'm getting at is, are all of the sons adopted? It happened so fast and I never heard them talk about it again..........

IT doesn't sound like her voice from the theme song or the the slow version of the theme song we've been hearing so far. She has a distinct lisp and the singer for that fan Vid didn't.....

Maybe he had a second wife?

The wife could have been sick for a long time before she got so sick that he had to care for her. There may have been time enough to have 3 children and then get REALLY sick for 2 years ... well, you know what I mean, don't you??? Also, I truly don't understand how he can bring Eomoji the "love of his life" to his family home when he knows how much she upsets his DIL. Tho she gives me a pain too LOL - ah well, it is after all a K-drama -

According to KBS's site, which I think is effective as of Ep 1:
Grandpa Hong is 70 years old.
Mun-gu is 51.
Pung-gu is 45.
Sung-gu isn't mentioned.
Ok-geum is 48.
Hye-sun is 47.
Things to note: Grandpa was only 19 [was he 'Pure 19'? ;D] when Mun-gu was born.
Mun-gu is six years older than Pung-gu, so there's probably a second wife.

I remember in one of the beginning episodes it being mentioned that Sungu was around 33 years of age.... That's quite an age gap between him and GH.

(Literally)In today's ep in Korea, U-kyeong marries Yun-jeong. You can see a preview of it here. [Note that this link may only be valid for a few days]. There's some other spoilers in this clip, too. NOTE! This link no longer points to a preview of the wedding, but to the next preview. Since this is the spoiler thread, I'm just leaving it as-is
