???Anyone got times/days for Chgo? I chanced on the "Chill Sisters" Friday around 8:15pm Does it come on any other day or time? Thanks. It airs on Friday's & Saturday's @ 8pm. However, it usually starts around 7:50pm so you want to check KBC from about 7:45pm.

. One more and then I'm doneā¦ did everyone hear Ilyan tell MC he has a "poor liver"? I couldn't believe my ears or my eyes when he said he has something wrong with his liver. Gosh! Do they really have to recycle old plots?

So sorry, Bae, but I must disagree. For years he has flaunted his mistresses and affairs, and has treated his wife like a slave. And even now, he was not upset that she had another lover, but his pride was wounded only because she was caught. He kept repeating that. And I have lost respect for Deokchil. She can have regrets for what she did, but her self-brutality is just a bit too much. I don't agree with what she did, especially leaving her children alone for her lover, but she took good care of them at all other times. I hate that Fish-face! Did you hear her beg him in the hospital to the effect that, "I took you for granted, but now I know how wonderful you are"?? ?? Gee, what changed your mind? The psychological torture? or maybe he's stopped belching all the time? I guess she's so desperate not to be thrown out that she forgot he cheated on her and treated her so badly. I can't believe him: "I'm worried about you. I can replace you in a flash with some other woman and I have money, but you'll be poor and no one will want you ever again." (impressionistic misquotation there)

I think Deok-chil is a second-class sister. If you look at KBS's Wallpaper for the show, Mi-chil, Seol-chil, and Tteng-chil have their own Walpaper, but Deok-chil is only part of the "Family" Wallpaper.

Deok-chil is Dae Jang Geum's mother!! What a thrill to see her! I got the first set of DJG and watched some of the first episode.
The picture is kind of grainy tho-I'm surprised. But the subtitles are clear enough.

Deok-chil comes off as pathetic at times. I'd have gone to some classes or something instead of running around with that other guy. (The two men that were in her life so far have lip issues.) I think it's sad that she has no other skill, yes cooking is good, but one needs a backup plan always.

What do you mean the picture is kind of 'grainy'? Did you get the DVD set from YesAsia?... because that's where I got mine a couple of years ago and the picture is beautifully clear.

I dunno, cooking is a pretty good career, there's always a job out there for you and it can take you to some pretty awesome places.
But that has nothing to do with how they've painted her as having her back against the wall.
All of the sisters except Seochill have had really pathetic moments in this series.

I suppose it could be something wrong with my player, but I don't know.

Wow, you mean the actress who plays Deokchill played little DJG's mother? The one who ate the berries in the cave? I can't picture it, but I believe it! They both have a sad quality.
Boy, now I'm thinking about different scenes from DJG and getting a little sad. That stuff about DJG's mother and Jang-geum's lifelong sadness/revenge plot chokes me up.
