Synopsis for ep 2:
Mi-chil, the escort sister, lays out her fee structure to In-han. He finds her very familiar.
Seol-chil (LTR) and Sargent Yeon search for an AWOL soldier. She says they should search separately, but he says "No, a woman can't run around alone at night." She tells him, "I'm not a woman, I'm a soldier!" He replies that she looks like a woman to him.
Mi-chil and In-han show up at the party. She introduces herself as "Baek Jang-mi" (she hasn't told In-han her real name). As they leave he pays up, and offers her the large gift-wrapped package he is carrying; it's the prize for being best couple. The bottom of the box breaks open, and two kitchen pots clatter to the ground. As she leaves in a taxi, he puts the box in the front seat, keeping a pot for himself (but forgets the lid).
At home, he tells his uncle "she was ugly" so he won't have to pay his uncle, who wants half of what In-han would've paid as the penalty if he had attended the party stag.
As it gets toward dawn Seol-chil and Sgt. Yeon haven't found the AWOL soldier. They stop in at a food cart tent for some ramen, and there's the soldier at a table of empty soju bottles, sobbing for his girlfriend, Geum-ja.
Seol-chil arrives home, and sees that Mi-chil has worn her dress. They get into an argument, and their father berates Mi-chil for being irresponsible, and orders her to apologize to Seol-chil.
In the kitchen, Myeong-ja (Mom) scolds her husband for playing favorites. He claims Mi-chil doesn't deserve anything.
In-han calls Seol-chil, and meets her at a coffee shop. he tells her about the party: He won 'Best Couple', 'cause . . . he (uh. . . .) was with another guy who also came stag
.
Myeong-ja confronts Mi-chil about her debt. She says she will help Mi-chil if she promises to get married. Arriving home, Seol-chil overhears this, and says "No, let her solve it on her own! I'll tell Dad!". Who, speak of the Devil, has also just arrived home, but Seol-chil doesn't say anything.
At the "Library" (Nightclub) Tteng-chil/Chong-chil's "Tutor" (Boyfriend) Dae-ja wants to dance, but she's too nauseous (and we all know what
that means!)
In-han's uncle Su-byo sees the mysterious new neighbor put some trash bags next to the receptacle. and chases after her. We see her in her apartment; the doorbell rings, and she lets in her son. Turns out she is Dae-ja's mother. He says he's late because he was having so much fun studying (Yeah, right). The doorbell rings again. It's Su-byo; Chan-son asks Dae-ja did he give out their new address? and then shushes him.
In-han calls "Jang-mi", and meets her at a restaurant. He asks about the lid he forgot, and she wonders "Is that what this is about?" He says "No, this is a date". He asks her about herself, but she doesn't want to say anything. She gets very tipsy from the wine, and they leave and stroll down the street. Seol-chil calls him, but he says "Sorry, I'm busy".
"Jang-mi" gives him a peck on the cheek, and leaves in a taxi. In-han suddenly has a flashback to a group date he went on in college; his date, "Chae Song-hwa", was the same person as "Jang-mi". She'd gotten drunk then, too, and had all the same mannerisms.
Late at night, Teok-chil's loutish husband comes home with a guest [the dispatcher from 'Yellow Handkerchief'/the writer from 'My Sweetheart']. The guest goes to the kitchen to help Teok-chil bring out the drinks, and there grabs Teok-chil's hand, and whispers, "Don't avoid my calls".
Seol-chil calls In-han, and he tells her he met the woman he went on the group date with in college. Later, she stops by Teok-chil's, and tells her sister she's worried because In-han is still smitten with that college date. Teok-chil advises her to tell In-han how she feels.
The next day, Sunday, Seol-chil puts on her green dress, and goes over to In-han's, but he's not home, he's at a funeral. She ends up helping Su-byo fix th sink in the bathroom.
At the hospital, a bunch of thugs show up, knocking stuff all over, looking for Mi-chil: it's time to pay up.
In the evening, In-han is returning, and runs into Seol-chil, who is on her way home. He notices her green dress, and remarks it seems to be a popular dress. He walks her home, and she's about to tell him how she feels, when her phone rings.
It's Mi-chil, who is drunk and full of venom toward her sister, saying she blames Seol-chil for everything bad that's ever happened.
Now, Seol-chil is in no mood to tell In-han how she feels, so they say goodnight. Just then, Mi-chil comes around the corner, sees them, and you can see the evil plot forming in he twisted mind . . .
The end.
