Like 'a love to kill' - this episode was a turning point for me. The background revalations really helped to make me come back for more. The YiSoonShin actor was touching as he recalled his dismal childhood.

Love grandma ... now that she 'spoke', will she continue? The BBall cap person remains such a good, twisted potential. The mom whose kids seem self-absorbed and ungrateful, the courage that Suhui displayed in being so forthright ('I like someone else')...

Yes, this drama now has potential ... enough for me to set my VCR. This drama, for me, has gone from 1/2 Star to... 3.

NO NO NO... That would be 3 out 10. Perhaps by Episode 6 it'll move up another notch. As a comparison Who's My Love was an 8 right off with Episode #1. Winter Sonata began as a 9

My viewing of this show has been spotty so far, but I like the grandma. She reminds me of "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter"; everyone goes to her with their innermost thoughts and problems and treats her like a sage because of her silence and presumed wisdom.

Just a few comments: We found out when Minho met with his brother that he (Minho) was the product of an affair their mother had. That's why his brother wants nothing to do with him and why the mother said that he wasn't his son to the father. Most likely, that's the major reason for the strain between the parents. In one of the first episodes, maybe the first one, Minho talked about Jian living at his parent's house instead of him, but I don't think they ever explained how that came to pass. I really can't understand how Minho can consider Jian his best friend after what he did to him when they were in school. If Minho was a calculating person, I'd say he was just waiting for the right moment to get some big revenge, but it seems Minho truly cares for Jian. I have to wonder if Jian is going to consider stealing the woman he loves as a hostile action on Minho's part.

As for the woman in the wheelchair, part of that mystery was revealed in last night's episode. Hocheol slept with that woman (we saw in a flashback), then acted like a complete jerk and pretty much told her sex was all he wanted. He even left some money for her on the bed before he walked out of the room. Then apparently she was hit by a car and is now in a wheelchair as a result. Hocheol's conscience must have bothered him, because it seems he's been paying for her to live on Jeju. He also paid for her hospital bill last night when she was in a freak accident and has registered their marriage, even though it's obvious they are not in love or a real couple. I'm sure this is going to cause problems with "Booger" when she finds out.

I am really enjoying this show. All of the characters are quirky but very likeable. I'm very curious about what secrets Grandma is keeping and why she has a safe full of money that she lovingly tends to and irons. This show is definitely worth watching.
