Okay I have to talk about my favorite scene in this episode. So the thugs finally catch up to Eunhye in her hometown and capture her. It was hilarious when they threaten to kill her, and then Eunhye wants to kill herself and the main guy is like "boys hold her down." That was hilarious, the man has been following her, threatening her for his money, then when she wants to kill herself he practically saves her AND takes her out to eat. That was to funny, especially when he's sitting there trying to give her advice on life. Ah the man can't be that bad, I mean he was probably concerned about not getting his money, but he actually seemed concern for her.

I think he's a very snappy dresser; I particularly liked the red hat.

Hi, Alexa! You're right, that was a great sequence. I think he's one of those humorous clumsy gangsters you see from time to time in movies and dramas. He is not quite as tough as he thinks. Thank heaven for that!

Well, this seems to be a convenient method of organizing the content of the series, unless we lose count, but I understand there aren't that many episodes. Anyway, I notice something today that I missed on Saturday: the final phone call from Mom. I remembered the phone ringing, but I didn't remember that the doctor actually answered it. It had been brought up earlier that the doctor was rather coldhearted (perhaps, even reptilian in personality) but it has been revealed that he has no mother. So, the fact that he answered the phone leads me to believe that the mother's message was anything but the calming farewell the doctor imparted to Eunhye; he really does have a heart, it's just been severely fractured and he's careful not to damage it further by immersing himself in his work (just like his delicate surgeon's hands). It's also kind of strange, now that I see "Flowers for Algernon" at the head of the closing credits, yet I'm still watching this show and being jerked about like a ragdoll with these severe changes of mood from scene to scene and being kind of mesmerized by it.

Does anyone have a brief synopsis of each episode to-date? I 've seen 4-8, but missed 1-4. Ep 9 airs tonight in DC area.

To SoKo Seo Eunhye is a swindler, she don't believe in love and happiness. She con and his complice is Kang Hangsu (Haru's father). He leaves her after he tooks the wallet with all the money that they had stolen together. She looking for him and she went to the village where Principal Yeom lives. In the bus, she met a teacher, Han Eunhye, and they had spoken together. The bus has been accidented, and after, when she's gone to the hospital, she tooks Han Eunhye's identity... Dr Park Dongjae is a neurosurgeon and wanted to do a experience. Haru is a disabled boy with a Q.I of 65... He's attracted by Seo Eunhye because she's very nice with him, that's why 1 day, Haru decided to do a surgery to become smart because he asked to her if she wants to stay with him if he became smart, and she answered "yes, and I'll buy to you ice cream and candy".... And 1 time, Eunhye has return to the jail, and after this, Haru doesn't want to speak ot her during a moment because he thought that she left him. And Dr Park Dongjae knows Haru have feelings for Eunhye, that's why he gaves her the chance to work with Haru... to use her to keep Haru.... And Eunhye said yes because she wants to earn money to pay back to Mr Pyo.... And Haru, after the surgery, started to have feelings.... In ep 4, at the pool, he said to Eunhye what he feels for her.... And after, Haru understood is not enough to keep Eunhye next to him..... It's really, really, the best K-drama that I've seen in kbs world... Don't miss all the next ep.... until the last 16ep.... Sorry if my english is not very well...

Thank heaven for that! yeah he can't be that bad. I mean who wouldn't be mad if they got conned out of $300,000!!!!! I really thought that Eunhye was lying about her mom needing surgery, I thought it was part of her act. Then when she told the doctor that she was being chased by a bunch of thugs, he kinda smirked and probably didn't believe her. Poor Eunhye, all this time she was really telling the truth. And what is up with the Female doctor (or director of the hospital) and that guy that lived with Day? I think they were romantically involved before. It'd be crazy if he turns out to be the father of her daughter.

Yeah, this was a great scene, another scene that I thought was funny (which is probably in the 3rd episode) is when the doctor and Eun-hye are looking for Day and run into the one guy getting mugged, the doctor comes in trying to be the knight in shining armor, only to get beaten up, I also noticed something, didn't one of the muggers run off with Eun-hye's purse?
