Lots of K-dramas have happy endings, but it’s true that the trend right now seems more towards “un-happy” endings. And since this *is* the spoiler thread, here goes . . . * * * * * * * * * The ending seems to be (deliberately) left a little fuzzy. Minjoo and Padlock keep trying to get Director Heo (Minjoo’s mother) to approve of their marriage, and while she continues to act as if she loathes Padlock, they seem to be wearing her down. Mrs. Ko and Dr. Jang seem to be on friendly terms. Dr. Park has patched things up with her mother (a photo shows the two of them together, both with big smiles). Not sure, but it also looks like Dr. Park’s injured hand is working fine again (did he have corrective surgery done on it)? Eunhye appears to have gotten her college degree, and she’s has taken a job as a teacher (this time for real) at Principal Yeom’s school. And Day . . . well, his condition continued to regress, leaving little option but to remove the electrode from the brain that had improved his intelligence. Dr. Park’s injured hand leaves him unable to perform the corrective surgery, and he humbly asks Dr. Jang to do the surgery. After the surgery, Day returns to his old self, with little or no memory of what happened. Though he’s gone back to being mentally retarded, he’s also become a happy person again. I wouldn’t call it a tragic ending, but it wasn’t really that joyful, either. Bittersweet, I guess.

Yes, all the character grown up after all the things it happened between them... I think Dr Park don't pratice anymore but maybe he do many research about medicine.... But I'm so sad for Eunhye, I'm happy because now her new life began, but seeing Haru like this, like he was before... It must be so hard.... If I was her, I just wanted to cry, I love him so much, he's so adorable.... U Gun, Kim Okbin and Lee Jonghyeuk gave us so many emotions...

Seeing Haru the way he was at the end must have been so hard for Eunhye, but at least he kept his promise and remembered her name Dr. Park grew also in many ways....he somewhat reconciled with his mother thereby letting go of his anger, and as he said it took adversity (maybe a combination of a failed surgery, losing the surgical precision of his hand, and losing Eunhye) to really "see" everyone around him. I didn't take to his character at first but he def grew on me! He really played his role well! I will miss this show!!

Thanks for the scoop. I have NO intention of watching the rest of the show because the ending would be such a let down for me. I have to admit I'm so AMERICAN in that I like those cheesy, highly improbale Hollywood HAPPY endings. (You know the ones where every single character's dilema has a happy resolution and EVERYONE lives happily ever after and nothing is left "fuzzy" and open for the viewer's interpretation.) I've only seen 1 Korean drama that had a fully satisfying and happy ending (Wedded Bliss). The characters are always great but the endings........... And why are the show written with a finite ending in mind? I'm still getting used to the idea of a drama that has only a certain amount of episodes. Here in the States, some shows last for YEARS! But all that asise, I'll keep watching these Korean dramas and falling in love with the characters (especially the FINE men). Thanks again for the info.

No thanks! I have watched a couple of Korean shows and been let down at the end. It just doesn't seem worth the emotional/mental and time investment. I'll wait for the next show to air when Hello God is finished. But I have to say Day is SO CUTE! And ROMANTIC! Wish I could find a guy like that. Korean guys are the bomb!

I do admit his lips are so sexy! Like a Korean LL Cool J (the American rapper). But this however, is not enough to make me continue to watch the show. I think there are 4 more episodes left but suddenly I have no desire to see the final remaining episodes. I do have an episode on tape so if I need to get a Day fix I can refer to that.

Justaviewer,
Don't sell yourself short of the experience. K-dramas are more true to life than these hideous "Reality Shows" we've been bombarded with in America. Life is not solved in 60 minutes or less and everything is subject to interpretation...
Frankly, American TV has dumbed down so much, I no longer watch it. I really enjoy KBS TV's Knowledge sponge. I am learning and growing so much more with this channel than with all the American cable channels combined.

I am learning and growing so much more with this channel than with all the American cable channels combined. It's great to find someone who think like me.... I have the same opinion when I'm watching american movies or dramas.. That's why I'm watching it but sometimes.... Since many years, I'm not really interested by their stories, so boring, so long too, always the same story, take "Beverly Hills" for example, I hate this show from the beginning, they never showed the real things, it's always "all the things are good, the students never worked but they have always money to spend!.... all the things always happened like they wanted.... Now, since many years ago, I take a pleasure to find something new on asian movies (chinese (my favorite for their movies), japanese, korean, vietnamese and thai)... It's really fresh, a different way to show the things with more emotions, more human too.... For example, I'm sure that you know "Fast & furious", I bought an another movie "Legend of speed" a chinese movie, who talking about cars too, but their story have a morals... In american, I never understand why people felt in love, only if the people is beautiful and have a lot of money, but asian screenplay showed more things the bad too, not only the best things... Justaviewer, do you know someone, in her life, who have only wonderful things like she wants?
