This is off the topic, but I want to order some DVD's of dramas, specifically. "Wedded Bliss", and "Winter Sonata" with English subtitles. What is a goodwebsite to order from. Reliable and good price? Thank-you.

I have ordered cds and books from hanbooks.com, Yesasia, and Annyoung, and they're all reliable. Be careful that you order the right region for your DVD player, though.
You might want to ask this on the General board instead, though.

I gave up on this drama. I found it depressing, confusing, dark, rough and cold. The main character (Bi) was particularly disturbing to me with his disrespectful, sneering attitude and abusiveness. The only part of this drama I liked was the music and that's not enough for me to sacrifice two hours a week for.

Wow, I was also quite confused by the first episode but I was sucked in completely by tonight's episode (3). I was a bit disturbed by all of the seemingly non sequitur scenes, but it seems kind of like the style being used in "Lost"; where you may see the same scene several times but from different character's points of view. Of course, now that these scenes have been played 3 times, the story seems to be coming together. I like it, so far. Hey gpaul, I have found "Wedded Bliss" for sale at KBS-America and somebody had posted a link for a place called eclickkorea.com which also carries it for about $20 more than KBS. What I want to know is how to get the original soundtrack recording? I was able to obtain a greatest hits compilation of K-drama music that contained just two of the songs, but I want them all. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks Captain Video, I will check out KBS-America. I was totally taken in last night by Bokgu. He cleans up very well, and I think his acting is terrific. I guess I like those smoldering, non-communicative types with great bods. The rich fiance is kind of cute too. I thought at first I wasn't going to like this drama but now I'm hooked. I hope the evil mother gets her just rewards at the end .

Hope springs eternal ... for reasons I don't understand, my reception yesterday was quite good ... meaning of course that I could read the subtitles. I agree with you gpaul. Bokgu really DID clean up well. A rather amazing transformation. The story line became more intriguing ... the characters developed nicely. I thought the scene with Bogku washing his brother was pretty nice. I too, enjoy the music ... and the camera work. So perhaps this will be worth watching - providing my reception stays consistent.

Kathleen, I agree with you about the scene where he was washing his brother. It showed a completely different side to him, he became quite human, until he said he would seek his revenge on Eunsok. He is scary but I'm sure he will soften by the end.

I watched only the first one last week. I didn't like it. I like more family type drama....

I missed the first couple of episodes, but I think I have put the missing pieces together (so far), and I think this is turning into a very interesting program. Bokgu's physical transformation is amazing, and I think we will also see a transformation in his character. The way he was tenderly washing his brother showed another side of him.
Question: Is he really going to fall in love with Eunsook or is he going to take her away from her fiance and then dump her, and that will be his revenge. But then, she doesn't really want to marry the rich guy, does she. What's that about?

But then, she doesn't really want to marry the rich guy, does she. What's that about? No, she doesn't want to marry that guy, back in the 1st episode, a video of the two was all over the internet and in trying to save his ass and his father's, he decided to let everybody know that they're in love and getting married...I still don't know exactly what was on the video, what was shown was real brief, but on Wed's episode, he said that she was drunk and he was trying to wake her up, so I guess that was what was posted all over the net....there's also something there about sexual abuse scandal, but it's still very unclear to me....if anybody can help explain this, please do so, I'm still confused about that.

They were at a party (I think relating to HER - a commercial?) and she got drunk (by drinking everyone's wine at her table) thinking about her love. She staggered out of the ballroom and was crying while sitting on the stairs in a stairwell. I forgot why the (now fiance) guy left, a phone call I think, and he saw her sitting on the stairs.
Somehow he accidentally fell on her and it looked like they were "getting it on" - although they weren't. When he fell and she started struggling to get him off her, someone from the top of the stairs got it on their phone camera. It doesn't show who filmed it, it just showed the person holding the camera filming the two of them down below. BTW, she doesn't remember a thing because she is very drunk.

I forgot one more thing. When she came back in the ballroom, after the incident, in front of everyone she told him essentially that he was a perv and if he touched her again he'd get it. (Was kind of funny - everyone had a shocked look on their face, including his family.)

Hey, I don't remember any ballroom scene either! On the other hand, I have confirmed my suspicions and whilst reading another forum, it was revealed that KBC is doing a bit of editing in order to fit the commercials in. Sometimes the edits are easy to figure out by information revealed in the next scene, but sometimes the stuff that's cut out is crucial to understanding the plot. I caught this from a discussion on the first episode of the Bizarre Bunch and we all realized that without that little snippet of information, it totally changed the character from an irresponsible dufus, to a life saving hero. I don't know, I'm really new to these shows, but this does seem to be a little problematic in the sense of comprehending a show based on subtitles. Actually, I was getting frustrated with myself for spacing out on a periodic tangential thought brought about some dialogue I had just read, and after regaining the moment, realizing I had missed some crucial part of the story. Glad to know that it's not always due to my ADD. ;D
