Well, because I turned it off after 20 minutes I cannot comment on Grandpa. If indeed it WAS grandpa, Ill watch it. You young girls can watch Bogku, a/k/a NeoEric, I'm still trying to get over grandpa. Is his hair parted in the middle? Thank you Lucy, you've renewed my spirit to watch. But until a better phrase comes on the scene, I'll consider it to be definite dogs nose kinda story (with all due respect to grandma)

Gosh, Soju (fanning myself)--he sure does work out! Not the Jin-kook girly-man type as it turns out. Thanks for the evidence that he does shave sometimes (besides his chest, I mean ).

I read somewhere that he worked out and learned boxing for this drama. I'll agree that he looks awesome! I wonder if my DH will get a washboard like that if I get back in shape...that's really sexy.Regarding the hairless chest. Koreans (and I think most Asians) are not hairy people - my DH has no chest hair and most Asians I've seen (on TV) don't either. Meaning, a rug on the chest or back is not common. Melissa

Oh, I know that, Melissa. I was just trying to be funny. The light was bouncing off him, so I couldn't resist making a comment about it. I think that is very appealing about Asian men. I'm not a hater of body hair, but the smoothness is so cute. They seem to have very "neat" bodies in general.

I am surprised. Forgive me for being off-topic, but it seems that there are a lot of non-Korean KBC fans here. I thought I might be the only one.

I'd prefer watching MBC Secret Lovers. Then again I already saw it but a subtitled version would be nice.

Was grandpa from WML supposed to be a bad guy in yesterday's episode?? He seemed so villany the way he chuckled at his younger son, i'm assuming is the guy with the glasses.

This may be getting a little off topic, I’ll admit, but I was fortunate enough to watch the subtitled version of “Secret Lovers” a while ago, and it was indeed one of the cutest and sweetest K-dramas I’ve seen in quite a long while. Good, clean, innocent fun! And how can any normal guy just not love the adorable Han Ji-hye? Of course, getting to watch actress Song Sun-mi belly dancing was quite a treat as well!

So glad you mentioned this BAE. 'villany'... what a good description. The dark hair with no part, the white shirt and tie... what a very different role. I believe I'll watch this to see how his character developes. NeoEric (Bogku) is beyond character development

Thank you, Kathleen, for being an "early adopter" of my "NeoEric" terminology. Melissa, your husband sounds cute, btw, based on what you said in that other thread, and your kiddies, too! Raoine, I think that most of us are actually non-Korean. Someone took a poll some time in the last year. Welcome! (I just read that over, and I don't mean 'welcome because you're not Korean', LOL!--just plain Welcome. The more, the merrier.)

NeoEric (Bogku) is beyond character development I think Bokgu could gain positive insight into his life path over the course of this 16 episode series. Maybe some character changes him. and the way this drama seems to be going, I think it's going to be Eun-sook. I don't think, to my dismay, that the writer will keep gramps hanging around. sad..........
