is what Sukhyun did to Jongnam. I am sick of junk like this in Korean dramas. And he has the nerve to say, "You're selfish; don't you ever think of anyone else?" HE DRAGGED HER away from her life plans because he didn't think her wishes were valid, and oh boo-hoo-hoo, his pain because he loves her and she won't accept him!! "Waaah! I guess I'll abduct her and keep her from her cell phone and berate HER for being the unreasonable one." Holy crap, why didn't he just drug her and steal her shoes into the bargain? I'm supposed to think this is funny and non- legally actionable?
P.S. Can anyone tell me what happened in the last couple of minutes of Monday's ep? My tape cut off. Last thing I saw was Sukhyun acting like a baby and saying he wasn't going back, then accusing Jongnam as stated above.

Yeah, you know, it's not acceptable to act how Sukyhun acted. It's a crime, really.
Poor Inbeom. I really feel bad for him.
P.S. Sorry, I don't remember what happened in the last few moments.

"But they really love each other . . ." I agree. Even for someone as arrogant as Suk-hyun, I thought this was too much. I know courtship by abduction is a custom in some parts of the world, but I usually associate it with isolated third-world villages, not an industrial metropolis like Seoul. I see things like this, and I have to wonder what the Korean fans have to say about it on KBS's 'Netizen' board. I would hope they're as bothered by it as we are.

I also felt bad for In-bum. I thought he was going to go into Suk-hyun's office to trash it or something.

Lucy you are too hilarious. Ummm...he said something about his being abandoned by his parents. That he had the fortune to meet up with some wonderful parents but where was his blessing in life (which left me thinking how can you be fortunate but not have a blessing?). And that he wants to find his parents to find out why they ruined his life. Then he throws down his car keys and tells her to leave, her things are in her car. And she's just looking like she's seen a spook. End of episode.

So he's told her now that he's adopted?

So he's told her now that he's adopted? HA! (In Edna Krabappble [sp?] voice) You wish, it's probably going to take another 2 episodes for that to happen. Basically he told her that he was abandoned by his parents, but I guess she's still going to wonder if it means that they've disowned him because of her or if it means that they really abandoned him.

He didn't say he was adopted yet.
Lucy, You bring up a great point though, because I think the same scenario happens in "Summer Scent". Somehow the men think that they can break the women down if they can't get away. I was pretty weirded out by it on both shows, but in my opinion the parents and families aren't lily-white either. If Nara wasn't so uppity, maybe they could have dated and avoided all this (K) drama.

What about Granny??? First she blames Jae-ok, saying it all happened because she was too nice to Jong-nam..... Then when Jae-ok explains that Suk-hyun had said that he wanted to marry Jong-nam and had asked for Jae-ok's help to get her, Granny blamed Jong-nam for Suk-hyun's behavior saying that "Jong-nam tricked him into liking her".... It must be sweet being a guy in Korea...Nothing you do is ever your fault....

Ducky, I know! Of course, that's Nara's whole story, too. Jongnam is bad, Jongnam is a Jezebel, Jongnam is always wrong. Sheesh. GC, I think it's Krabappel. You're right, I was expecting too much from our writers. Sukhyun has been hinting for months that his family life is not what people think, and goshdarnit if it's not going to take at least a few more episodes for that to come out. If not longer!

When her Grandfather went though Ellis Island, the name was Americanized to Krabapple
