(If you haven't seen the previews for tonight's episode, which I think will be 105, don't read this post.)
So, my GOSH, Minsook and Jaedo SOLD SUKHYUN to Nara? That's much worse than I thought it would be. I thought they would have GIVEN him to her. But they sold their baby for money? That's not good. I can't wait to find out what their conditions were at the time they did that.

I feel so bad for poor SH. He's been going through so much these past couple of months. But I don't think that's the whole story, somehow Minsook doesn't seem like that type of person. Nara, definitely; Minsook not so much.

Thanks, ginny. Hmm. I wonder about what GC said. OK, I'm going to guess, because now I know that Nara is a pathological liar (she told Minsook that SH DID overhear and that he wants to go to his bio mother). I guess that she didn't really sell SH to Nara, but that's what Nara told everyone. Don't tell me if I'm right. ;D

Thanks, ginny. Hmm. I wonder about what GC said. Reader's Digest Lady: Hello Mr. Simpson. Were you aware that the rules for the essay contest stated that parents were not to help their children in writing the essay? Homer: *shrugs shoulders* Mhhmm (like when you say I don't know w/your mouth closed) Reader's Digest Lady: Do you know anything? Homer: *shrugs shoulders* Mhhmm (like when you say I don't know w/your mouth closed)

GC, you're so funny. (The keystrokes for that face, btw, are colon hyphen capital X.)

I like that quote a lot, back from when the Simpson's were good and funny. So I missed yesterday's episode and got up really late so I couldn't set my VCR, what happened with SH? I know that in the preview he yells to Nara "You're not my mother!" What happened there?

Well, I missed the beginning of the episode somehow, but I don't think I missed much. We open on Sukhyun, sagging against a wall, apparently drunk as a(n orphaned) lord and very upset over the news that Minsook sold him to Nara. So he goes home, looking rumpled and sweaty, and he goes up to his room after greeting his dismayed parents. BTW, his father has just asked Nara for $5000 (for Jaedo, though he says it's for a friend in Busan), and the Emasculation Champ of 2006 said no. So father follows him upstairs and says, "I'm sorry to ask you now, but it's urgent. Can you lend me $5000?" And he tells him it's for Jaedo but doesn't say why. Sukhyun is swaying & looking sick, so he says they will talk about it tomorrow. They shush up when Nara comes in with the honey water. During the night, Sukhyun has a nightmare that would be funny if it weren't sad. He pictures Baby Sukhyun being held by a young Minsook, sitting on the floor across from Nara. Nara basically says, "here's the money," and Minsook is so happy when she looks inside the envelope and sees "it's enough for a house!" She cheerfully holds out the baby and says, "Here, take Sukhyun." LOL. Of course, drunken Sukhyun is tossing and turning all this time. So then he has a dream that Minsook is in his room, petting his hair and saying, "I wish you weren't sick. I wish I could be sick instead of you." But it's not entirely a dream; it's really Nara sitting on his bed and making with the motherly affection. He pushes her (Minsook's, he thinks) hand away, and when she insists on babying him, he pushes her off and yells, "You're not my mother!" She falls to the floor and he awakes fully and realizes it was Nara. The End. I left out everything else that happened in the episode. Cuz you didn't ask about that and my wrist is tired.

The worst part in all of it is that SH has absolutely no one to turn to. I'm afraid that he might turn against the people that he cares about. (This is my opinion regardless of my spoiler reading.) From the previes for tonight's episode, it seems like SH goes on this vendetta against KW because he's probably upset with his biological parents and can't stand the fact that KW is now his BROTHER. I wish he'd just lean on somebody instead of punishing himself with the drinking.

Wow, I saw the episode with Sukyhun having the dream, but it must have been edited (I'm watching in LA. This was a while ago). It didn't have Minsook saying that the money Nara gave her was enough for a house. It just had the later part, with Minsook caring for him, wishing she was sick instead of he and then Sukyhun waking up to yell at Nara.
I'm missing out, I guess. Well, it's good to read to hear about it here.

That's too bad, evelyn! I thought it was very revealing of the anger and bewilderment he is feeling that made him imagine that worst-case scenario. (Mercenary Minsook being all too happy to toss the kid to Nara in exchange for lots of money.) I would like to pet his hair and comfort him, too.

Yep, I'm pretty much only interested in that part, I bet everything else was dog's nose anyway. Thank you, unni!

I felt bad for Nara when SH pushed her away thinking she was Min-sook. I saw tears in her eyes, negating the thought I previously had of her being completely unfeeling. It must've hurt her to have heard her son yell out to her that she's not his mother. Whatever Nara is, cruel, vindictive, etc., she's still the woman who took such tender care of SH. Who values him more than she does her husband. I can't help but be empathetic towards her right now.
