Her petulance with Sukhyun just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I'm too far ahead (I live on the West Coast), but I think she was annoying earlier on.
I do not find the way she acts attractive. I don't understand all the love for Jongnam.

Yes, most viewers seem to love Jong-nam just as much as they hate Hae-in. ;D
Well, I’ve already mentioned elsewhere that I like Hae-in, and while I don’t exactly dislike Jong-nam, I think that a few hours spent with her would leave me with a migraine that might take days to go away. I like to fancy myself as a low-key, sophisticated kinda guy (probably why I’m attracted to Hae-in - though I’m afraid that I’d have to be a whole lot younger, handsomer, and richer to actually capture that pretty young lady’s attention) and Jong-nam is just a little too hyper and wired for my taste.
Of course, she grew up in an orphanage, so it’s no surprise that she’s aggressive and a fighter. That’s cool, and I like her straightforwardness, but she’s just a little too go-go-go!

Absolutely! I'm not sure why, but Jongnam just irritates the life out of me and has since the very first episode. And that jerky, stumbling walk of hers makes me wonder if her shoes are too tight? Most viewers seem to love her, though, and I just don't get it.
Haein, on the other hand, is sweet and very chic. I loved her with her hair twisted back in that French Twist with the stick jewelry holding it up. Very classy....rather Geisha like. On another board, I saw Haein's hair style referred to as "a bun" with a chopstick in it. That sounded like it came from a three year old. It was neither descriptive nor articulate...just mean. Lately, Haein has been wearing her hair long, but pulled back at the sides. I much prefer her hair pinned up. She looks too much like a schoolgirl with this new hairstyle.

I think Jong-nam is supposed to be annoying, to drive home the point that she was raised without parental guidence, and must now learn how to be accepted by the so-called "Higher class" Nara.
I am a bigger fan of Hae-in than Jong-nam myself. Speaking of her hair, I don't think it'll count as a spoiler to say that later in the show, she wears a new hairstyle that is very attractive on her.

To find some person with her positive attitude would be a good find. She has had enough life to know the bad side of people (she was mugged early on, & thrown out of her appartment) and yet she can still see the good in people. I know individuals that hold grudges, she does not seem to do this. In the show she displays the ability to be a true friend, people with this ability are difficult to find. When in my mid 20's I could have easily dealt with her activity, isn't that how one is supposed to be at that age? Now I would still want to be her friend, surround yourself with positive happy people and you become more positive & a little happier.

I don't really like her and Haein.... Haein is so "sweet" for a girl and Jongnam looks like so much as a little girl. But I like their styles... I like the Jongnam's coats.

Jongnam is also very honest, and the actress does a good job of portraying this. Whenever someone asks her a difficult question that, if she were to answer it honestly, it would get her in trouble, she completely blanks. She is incapable of lying, and she's scared to answer. So she looks down, up, all around, but can't think of a thing to say, as if she's panicking. This is a different thing than the usual blank stare that any character in a K-drama will give when asked a direct question. One other reason why I insist on liking Jongnam is because Nara hates her, and I don't want to agree with Nara.

I am a strong JN supporter. I don't really find so many flaws with her. She's brash, but that's due to her lack of parenting. She's been left on her own since birth and to fend for yourself in this world isn't that easy. She's the kind of person who does believe that you recieve respect when you know how to give it, and I do believe that Nara is irritated with her because she knows for the first in the time in her life, she can't control those around her.

I guess I don't like how Jongnam can be excessively happy at times or overreact to things. It gets irritating. There is such a thing as being overly enthusiastic. Plus, she gives Sukyhun a hard time at times. But it seems like 80% of the people here like Jongnam, and only 20% dislike her. Maybe I'm too jaded to get exhilarated by her unrelenting personality.

I think so too. She is annoying. I like Haein. I think the actors should have been switched.

I don't know. I think Jongnam is nice. You kinda feel bad for her because of her orphan days.

I Luv Jongnam, she's the best one on the show. She's the comic relief.
