I really do think that Cider is taking advantage of the situation of Kiwoong's status as a temp. Apparently the rest of the office torments Cider (I'm thinking of the scene when he gave the smelly pillow to Kiwoong for a gift and the other guy sprayed air freshener on the pillow. then on Cider's butt), so he may as well have fun tormenting the temp. I don't know if anyone happens to catch "Scrubs", but the senior attending physician, Dr. Cox, has made a career in this series by calling the newbie, Dr. Dorian, by a different girl's name in each scene. One episode, Dr. Cox actually lamented over the necessity of having to repeat a name for the inability of coming up with a new one on the spot.

Min-sook is so happy to meet Hae-in at Jae-man's house, but Hae-in is worried what might happen; she steps outside. Nara and Sunhyujk arrive home. Nara asks Min-sook what she thinks of Hae-in as Suk-hyun's wife. Min-sook politely but uncomfortably says Hae-in is very nice.
Cider Park finds Ki-woong working on the sushi project on Sunday, and admires his dedication -- "You remind me of myself three years ago. Keep working hard, and maybe you'll be like me in three years." Ki-woong says "You mean I'll be that fat?'
Jong-nam gives the photo coupon to Jae-ok, saying she should give it to someone. Jae-ok says, Let's use it ourselves.
Hea-in is in her room, very pensive. Byoung-doo comes in, showing off the new bloom on his orchid. Hae-in shows little interest. In the living room, Byoung-doo tells Yu-jong to put the orchid away. Not there, it's too sunny. Not there, it's too drafty. She sets it back on th coffee table.
Yu-jong tells him "You've been so mean since we met Suk-hyun's family. Are you going to keep Hae-in from marrying?" She then remembers that her father and brothers were the same way when she got married.
Min-sook is sitting outside, waiting for Ki-woong to come home. He finally does, and they chat for a couple of minutes. She tells him, "All I want is for you to eat well and be comfortable." He says he may not be able to do anything else, but he can sure do that. Minsook goes back to her room, and looks very sad.
Next day, Suk-hyun calls Hae-in to his office. He's read the sushi plan thoroughly. Hae-in says if it fails, she'll be responsible. He says Sure, I'll let you do one hour per week.
Ki-woong enters the office. His co-workers act very down. He asks if it's bad news; they continue the act a little, the tell him his plan has been approved, cheering and shooting off streamers.
He runs ot to the hall where he meets Jong-nam. She is very happy to hear his good fortune. Suk-hyun comes by; he and Jong-nam start bickering. Ki-woong tells them to go away; he doesn't wat to be in the middle of it. Suk-hyun tells Ki-woong he'll buy him lunch tomorrow. Ki-woong had agreed to lunch with Jong-nam then, considers, and then agrees.
The next day, Jae-ok and Jong-nam get ready for their portrait session. Jong-nam is wearing the outfit Suk-hyun bought, but she feels awkward. They get Mr. Poo, and go to the studio.
Suk-hyun is waiting in the lobby for Ki-woong to come down. Kiwoong gets a call from Jong-nam, sying she's on her way. Hae-in asks if there was any problem at his home. He asks like what? She starts to answer, but then says never mind.
Down in the lobby, Suk-hyun sees Jong-nam enter the building, wearing he new outfit, first awkwardly, then confidently.
The End.

Soju, that was a beautiful and concise recap. Do you have a photographic memory, or do you tape the episodes for further review and clarification?

That's one of the reasons I got a laptop with a Wi-Fi connection -- so I could take it into the living room and write as I watch. I just ride the pause control on my recorder.

Soju, I too am completely impressed with your recap. From now on when I miss an episode I will ask you for a summary.

Several years ago, Korean Wiz asked me to tell her how the series "Tender, Hearts" ended, since it was on too late in Hawaii for her to watch. She thought enough of it to post it to her site. While I was writing it, I found I rather like writing plot summaries. Maybe I should work for TV Guide? But then I'd have to watch those horrible American shows

Maybe I should work for TV Guide? But then I'd have to watch those horrible American shows The people who write for TV Guide don't seem to watch the shows, why should you? I got a one year subscription for free, and every week I am more convinced I overpaid...

OK, let me try a synopsis for the finale of "Lost":
The cast finds they're actually on "Survivor." The guy who barks like a dog wins the big prize.
Note that I've never watched either show, so I don't know whether anybody barks like a dog on them.

Oh man, you and Teresa could rewrite a couple of these shows into one new hit and take Hollywood by storm!

Thank you Captain! So far, I think this drama is superior to MSMD. For one thing, the pace seems a little faster to me and for another, the characters seem to have more dimension to them and they aren't agonizingly dragging out their chief woes. How can anyone forget 20+ solid episodes of Inyoung dragging her pocketbook over whether she should or should not marry Jaemin?
Having said that, this Cider Park calling Kiwoong "honey" with fingers in the shape of a heart is starting to get old. I think Kiwoong should shut him up by planting a big smack-a-roo on him. Cider Park would fall out of his office chair, scramble up and run shrieking to the stock room!

Absolutely, it's getting old. Cider is just too lonely and pathetic if he can't give up this little joke.

Wonder if they have Human Resources departments in Korea? Almost time for a reprimand, altho Ki-woong is too nice for that. Maybe he should rag on Cider for being chunky, hey, you gonna eat all that? you'll break your chair... That's mean, but non-stop teasing is mean too.
