OK, this is driving me crazy. I swear that everyone else in Chicago is one episode ahead of me! I tape the evening episode, get home and watch it, and recognize what you all have been talking about that day as having taken place the night before. Like in the thread entitled "Rendez-vous," I don't remember anything about the husband telling his mistress he was going overseas. I bet you anything it's going to be in tonight's episode on my videotape. Are you all really watching this show on KBC41, or are you downloading the episodes? I'm freaked out, a little! And embarrassed because I know somehow that I must be doing something wrong. If you can take my word for it (doubtful at this point ), I am not crazy, at least not as far as I know.

Lucy, I didn't see the cheater tell his mistress about a trip, either, but I was blaming it on not reading all the subtitles in the snow. Tonight the mistress came to the cafe/bar and asked if the owner had Mr. Kim's phone number. She didn't or wouldn't help her. But doesn't the mistress have one phone number and doesn't she know where he works so she can call him there? (I guess it's hard to look up Kim in the phone book and find a particular friend if you don't know the address.) It might have been episode 9 tonight, but I'm not sure. (I just deleted a spoiler, I didn't know how much you wanted to pin down the ep.) A dog appears in this episode--there, not much of a spoiler.

That rendez-vous scene was edited out maybe that's why you're confused Lucy.

So sorry for being a spoiler. I had thought that Chicago was a bit ahead of Philadelphia.

Oh. Well, that explains it. Teresa, no real harm done--it was only one episode or two ahead (and that's what was confusing me; it was so close to what could have happened in the current episode that my mind couldn't fathom what was going on). Maybe we could start using episode numbers when we talk about things that have happened, or you could remind us that you're talking about a downloaded, not broadcast episode, or tell us where you're viewing if you're not in Chicago. If you register as a user and give your location, that will appear in the box to the left of your message, where your name is, and we'll be able to make the mental adjustment. Ginnycat, whew! I saw the dog in last night's (Tuesday's) episode, too. I think it was ep 9 or 10.

I think that Ms. Shim only has the number of the cell phone that he's dedicated to her, and Jae-man probably has it turned off, since he's spending all day with his wife. Re the dog: I can see the problem with watching ahead. Last night, I was surprised to see the dog introduced. I've seen the dog so much, I forgot that it hadn't been seen on ch41 yet. And speaking of things to come, what Tersea was talking about is indeed hilarious

Did anyone else hope the driver would pull into Happy House (from Who's My Love) and drop the dog off there?

That dog is cute. I wonder if she's sticking around with the Changs.
