I think Sukhyun will become more attracted to Jong-nam when the question of his birth becomes clear. Right now, he's waiting for tests to see if his parents are his biological parents, but he may feel closer to JN who grew up in an orphanage. He may be attracted to JN because she's overcome the stigma of being an orphan, then, as a young adult, being "adopted" by his Aunt.
I missed some of the episodes, but I like JN. She's won her way into the hearts of nearly everyone except Sukhyun's miserable mother who treats her like "trash". I think that Sukhyun feels more comfortable with her than Haein who has a father that treats her like a "princess." JN doesn't expect a lot, but wins the hearts of those she comes in contact with.

And then she bought them all a tiny bottle of pop, (juice?), just to let them know she hasn't forgotten all the little people... Also, what was that drink Ki-woong bought her B4 her audition & where can I get me some of that? It might be an energy drink, with vitamins and/or caffeine. JN told SH, it looks like you need it (the drink), when he was hanging his head and not concentrating well.

What crazy, loose walk? How interesting that you noticed his walk! Is he still doing it? I'd like to see it and notice it for myself. You know, the walk where he throws his arms about his side to and fro and tends to slightly gallop, very slightly. I don't know, there's a few posts dedicated to the topic of his odd walk on the Goo thread. ;D

I wanted to know what Ki-woong bought Jong-nam B4 her "audition" for guest on the show-- One minute she's all nervous, and like 2 minutes later she's in "Happy Land"...

Jongnam is attracted for a long time by Sukhyun.... and now he started to have feelings for her.... and she started to looks like a beautiful girl (like Haein) when she wears dress.... Sushimi, you told us something that we haven't seen yet in Chicago, and we consider that a "spoiler," (it spoils things for people who don't want to know the plot twists before those episodes are broadcast) so I removed it. We are on about episode 60 or so, and Jongnam has just gotten the job as a "guest" and Sukhyun and Haein are planning their wedding. I say that so you will have an idea of how far we have gotten here. If you want to talk now about what happens next, please use the spoiler thread. Thanks.--Lucy

The same drink appeared tonight in ep 132 in Korea. it seems to be for reducing nervousness. It looks a lot like LipoVitan, but that's for hangovers. It's probably herbal. I wonder what the alcohol content is, if any.

But I thought what reduced her nervousness to begin with was looking at SH the whole time while talking about that coat and such.

Wasn't Suk-hyun about to confess his feelings for Jong-nam when she interrupted and said she had to go? He said he had thought of marriage as a business thing, until he met a woman.... Then something about having let go of the rope that protects -the woman- so JN said she doesn't need protecting. I guess she understood the direction he was heading, so she split. This is getting so good! All the yearning...

OK, that sounds hackneyed, but it's going to be a difficult journey for him.

It appears so. I think SH would've broken up with HI a very long time ago if he wasn't so afraid of his mother. But, what I don't get is why he had to drag it this far. Why he had to lead JN on like that when there was no need to go further than friendship. But there was some sort of a connection between the two from the beginning, so, I guess I can't blame him entirely. The poor boy must've been as confused as JN about where their relationship was headed exactly.

Wow, Sandi, you really called it! I didn't expect him to say what you said. I thought it was just some kind of chemistry, but there's more now that he knows they aren't his parents. I guess Jae-ok is more concerned with family harmony than with how JN and SH feel about each other. Altho she might have economic fears too, that statement about people with money and power can do anything they want, so don't put me and JN in a bad position. She really doesn't trust Nara to restrain herself and be decent, but fears she'd be vengeful.

But what did he mean about the rope. That he had to "let go of the rope that protects her", does that mean that because his wedding is so close he can't hang out with her or be seen with her. That he's going to let his feelings be known which might make things uncomfortable for her? And yep, the yearning, the yearning!!!

I totally didn't understand his speech. The rope business . . . He was talking in the third person, so it took me a while to catch on who he was talking about, and some of the things he was saying could have applied to Haein as well. Also, I thought that when Jongnam got up and walked away, it was because she thought he was saying that he didn't have feelings for her anymore, or that he did but it was just because he needed someone at the time, or something. And so she got up so she wouldn't have to hear the painful words to the effect that he was going to have to stop seeing her. It wasn't too clear to me.

That's a good point, Lucy. I was thinking that she wanted to stop him from saying how much he cares, because he's engaged. She keeps replaying it all in her mind. Wonder if she would have stayed at the bar longer if she had a chance to think about it.

She is really crushing on him. How could she not be utterly confused? Seems like he and Haein are made for each other in a way, but clearly she senses he likes *her*, but she can't expect anything from him and doesn't want to encourage him to do anything because he's engaged. *Sigh*! Or maybe she said to herself, "What the h--- is he talking about, rope? I'm outta here. I'm going home to take Mr. Pooh out of his box and put him back in again. At least you always know where you stand with Mr. Pooh!"
