Well, I just watched the final episode repeat and here are my final, final thoughts. By the way, there were no commercial interruptions today and the tape reads 56min 32sec. The final ten minutes found me unable to prevent losing it emotionally (even though this was the second time watching, the funeral and the phone message were absolutely heart wrenching). I still stand firm on my objection to letting Soonie suffer in that manner for that length of time. I feel that Happy Camper elaborated nicely on my opinion about keeping the children in the dark; if this weren't an issue of concern, why would it be a central plot line in Farewell to Tears? Hyesun is still alive and Sungmi finds it impossible to forgive her for abandoning the Han family. Granted, death and abandonment are slightly different in nature, but the result is the same.

Now then ... regarding Hello God... usually Koreanwiz gives a brief overview of the story line.... on these two, however no such overview is given. Is there a site that provides a storyline to these two? The English page for Hello, God ( May contain spoilers)

I just wanted to make one more comment about the last episode of Rosy Life. Although I was disappointed that the rebroadcast was still so badly edited, I really enjoyed the scenes that were shown in the background while the show's credits were rolling on. after the show itself had ended. It was nice to have a tiny glimpse into Soonie and Sungmoon's past, before marriage and children and illness took over their lives. For me, seeing how perky and cute Soonie was and how smitten Sungmoon was with her helped me better understand the history of love that enabled her to forgive him (for cheating on her) and that gave him the courage to stay with her until the end (even though it was incredibly sad and physically draining for him). I thought it was a nice touch to end with those scenes that we had never seen before and it was certainly a more positive note to walk away with. Much better than seeing a bunch of behind the scenes people that we don't even know.
Also, thanks to Ducky for posting that link about Hello God. This drama sounds a lot more upbeat, and I think that's good after watching such a sad one.
