Was that the last episode? All the developments in the spoilers happened, so won't there be a wedding for Jung-woo and Seo-young? Maybe tomorrow night? I was reading my mail, too, so it was a surprise that Hye-sun was dead already. Did they anounce a time jump that I missed? I didn't even see the number of this episode - there are supposed to be 60 total.

Yes, No, No, Yes.....
And they didn't mention anything about what is filling this timeslot... Probably means another re-run....

Aigu! Waaaahhh! I enjoyed this drama, so I am sad to see it end, although the ending/story wrap-ups did seem a little fast in the last few episodes. Anyway, does anyone know what will broadcast tomorrow night in this time slot? I'm holding my breath that we will soon be seeing a historical drama..........It's been a long time......

I was not paying complete attention but Hyesun died between the seen where she and Jungwoo were watching the Sunrise and the next seen was Seoyoung's mom and Jungwoo's mother (the one who raised him) setting a final date for the wedding and mentioning that Hyesun was dead already.

The scene at the beach was during cold weather, and the wedding date was set for the end of May, so there was a pretty long time jump, I guess. Weddings in Korea don't seem to take 6-8 months to plan the way they do here. (I'm guessing) It's hard to tell from dramas, but it looks like they happen within the month that the date is set. I would've like more time to be happy with them!

I would have wanted another happy episode as well but maybe these writers were better at the Sorrow than the Farewell to Sorrow. Hyesun was in bad shape and I would guess the beach would be colder longer into the spring then other places. I don't think Korea has a very mild climate anyways. Weddings in Korea don't seem to take 6-8 months to plan the way they do here. (I'm guessing) It's hard to tell from dramas, but it looks like they happen within the month that the date is set. I would've like more time to be happy with them! I don't know if we can take what happens in dramas to be completely representative of real life. When I had a 7 hour layover at Inchon Airport I didn't see a single star crossed lover dash through the airport chasing after their true love.

Hah!
Yes, I believe last night was the lastest lastest episode. I don't suppose anyone figured out if they're rerunning it today and when? Just in case?
And I don't know what's next. Just tape the timeslot and see what you get, LOL.

In my view the ending was pretty disappointing. I don't know what it is about K dramas, but they can belabor insignificant scenes during the middle episodes, but when the end is broadcast, a lot is to be "presumed".
Ms. Kang was made out to be the savior for the whole family, handled her situation with great dignity in my opinion, and then (scenes missing) "she died… aaat's a shame! Anyone wanna get coffee?"
Plus with no reruns due to the World Cup broadcasts, the very end seemed chopped off before it was really over. Suddenly it's off screen with no mention of "final episode, thank you for watching" or any such clue. Pretty lame for a 60 episode series, which also begs the question: how did it end on an odd night? 2 episodes a week should have made the ending tonight. Did we lose one somewhere?

The last time WOCH changed antennae, they were off the air for 1 episode of this show......They didn't skip any eps., it should have ended last Tues.

I was going to say the same thing, Zorro. One second Jungwoo was "speaking" beautiful sentiments to Seoyoung, then suddenly it cut to commercials, and then directly to the news!! It was so abrupt, like an interrupted reverie. Also Ms. Kang's death seemed like a passing thought, as you said. I thought maybe I'd catch a rerun today, but apparently the channel is not working....grrr!!

What a disappointment that the ending was rushed. I really had high hopes for this show, I thought it was very good for the most part. However, watching the last 10 episodes or so, it just got pretty sappy, especially after Ilho reformed. I've still got 6 episodes to watch. I hope I don't gag. LOL.

This is from TM's post in the spoiler thread, page 1:
Just saw the final episode here in Virginia.
Mrs. Kang gives Sungjae and his wife the wedding and honeymoon they could never have.
Mrs. Kang gives her nightclub to long time faithful employee Mr. Lee.
Sungmin and Heesoo are back together and Heesoo is pregnant.
Sungmi (the sister) is engaged to that fat cook (can't remember his name).
Sungkyu and his wife are happily back together.
Minjoo has a baby boy.
Old man Ilho finally respects Dojin's business acumen after he has a good idea to partner with Han Brothers Noodles on a product.
Kibeom seems destined to hook up with Yeojin.
Mrs. Kang dies of pancreatic cancer, but after spending time with Jungwoo. The death happened fast and was glossed over - not nearly as dramatic as I thought it would be.
Jungwoo and Seoyoung's marriage is scheduled to take place but never does by the end of the show. Where are you watching that it's on until 11?
