So Jungwoo just happened to have his guitar handy at the noodle factory and got it out so he could sing a song to Seoyoung. In English. Does anybody else think maybe he should stick to acting? I'm not even sure that was his voice--his speaking voice is a fairly rich baritone, and the singing voice was a rather thin tenor.

I did not hear it yet, of course, but as a person who sings, I know that people's singing voices frequently do not match their speaking voices, especially if they do not feel quite comfortable. They tend to sing it "lightly" at the top of their voice range, rather than commiting their full breath. I never discount a person's singing talent by hearing their untrained voice--I've been shocked and surprised way too many times. Except by Julia Roberts, of course. LOL.

What, you've never, ever watched an episode of Gomer Pyle in which Jim Nabors sings? I don't have a voice like Gomer's but people frequently tell me how surprised they are at how different my voice sounds when I sing as opposed to my speaking voice. Jungwoo certainly can't play the guitar, but Kyungmin, on The Golden Apple, apparently has some talent, although they overdub his playing and frequently hide his hands in shots of him playing, he is more capable of rendering a pleasing sound out of the instrument than Jungwoo or the cafe owner in The Bizarre Bunch, who just bought a guitar for decoration in the cafe. |

The actor who plays Jungwoo is actually a singer. Or should I say a dancer who sings a little?
He's a member of the group Shinhwa which is made of seven guys. They're huge. I don't know much about it, but I'm pretty sure he does a little of the vocals. So he's an actor turned singer.

I actually thought that his voice was pretty pleasant. he had this sort of calming and soothing voice. I admit it did sound a bit overdone, but it overall sounded pretty melodic, IMO.

Wow, that seems kind of rude on Soompi's part. But he has to pay for his site, doesn't he, so maybe he is tired of freeloaders, LOL.
Eric and Jungwoo? Aigu! That's very funny. Very, very funny.
By the way, I thought his voice was rather pleasant when he sang over the phone to Seo-young. Also, everyone knows those guys in the "boy bands" (similarly for girl bands) don't actually have to have more than passable voices. The wonders of the electronic age, you know. Finally, if he's a REALLY good actor, he'll try to sing like someone who's not a professional, because he's supposed to be a noodlemaker, not a boybandguy.
