Sorry for the delay in asking this, but can anyone tell me what was the drink Jungwoo concocted with the powder and the half watermelon? This was way back when they first started the fruit stand. Thanks.

It's called hwachae. It's just a kind of fruit punch.

It's called hwachae. It's just a kind of fruit punch. Thanks donilpark, but that description was just a tad complicated Could you possibly simplify it? ;D Seriously, I was interested to know what the specific ingredients were. But, I guess like all good teachers, if you provide the student with just enough information and incentive, they will embark on their own path of discovery and enlightenment. Thanks!

There are variants. The one that Jungwoo made is a simple one with watermelon, misugaru (flour of various grains mixed together) and a pop like Sprite or 7-up. Did he put in peach as well? I don't think he did that. Something that looks like this (here ya go, the picture ;D) Jungwoo's was a lot less pretty though. And here's a recipe. But there are endless number of variants. times.hankooki.com/lpage/culture/200409/kt2004090619200011680.htm

Thank you donilpark, and thank you for having a great sense of humor. Actually, I have another question, if I may. I found a picture of the poster for the Rain show at MSG and thought some people might care to see it. The first part of the question is how to do that, and the second part would be does it suck up a lot of bandwidth from the board? Thanks in advance Ya know, that is a might purrty presentation. Thanks for the photo.

Yes, and now they sell vegetables, too. What will they do in the winter, tho? Maybe a lean-to tent and a kerosene heater? Brrr. Or open a store, if they have saved enough money?
