I'm not complaining about the drama, so far, I like it very much. But although I think the actor is excellent (and I haven't got the names yet, so I'll make up my own, LOL), who could stand to live with Failure Man?
I know he's going through a rough patch, but he doesn't seem charming or intelligent or kind. He's just petulant and sullen. Why has Yeojin (got one!) been pining after this yutz all these years? She's gorgeous and smart and funny and RICH, who needs him? And how the heck did he get TWO smart, competent, attractive women who want to do everything for him? I was particularly turned off by him stopping in his son's room and pawing him when he was drunk. Ick. Not that there was anything "off" about him in a molesting sense, just, what kid needs to see his dad a pathetic drunk? Don't mope about your house acting like a fool, pull yourself together and FIX YOUR LIFE. (I'm only up to episode 6, so maybe he's turned it around, but I kinda don't think so.)
From Dae Jang-geum: Sun-dol: "Are you trying to dry me up and kill me? Why do you say the same things over and over every day? Rather, come and hit me once! Aigu!" But then: Dr. Lazarus: "By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Warvan... You shall be avenged."
Did you see Yeo-jin's father's confession of all the evil things he did to Sung-min? If he feels stressed and hunted, he isn't even paranoid, somebody IS after him. At least, several years ago Ilho did him harm repeatedly, and threatens him even now. I agree he's been mopey and unattractive , tho, with his loved ones having to beg him to accept their help.
