I don't know...it seemed like every other one we've watched so far. Some new faces, some friendly familiar ones. Not quite sure if I will keep up with this one.
What do you all think?

I concur. Though I'm slightly intrigued by the back story on the girl whose father is so mad at her because (he says) she's still seeing that guy from her past. I don't know. I don't have that much time in my schedule to be watching Korean dramas 6 nights a week. . . .

Yeah it's definitely Classic Kdrama. I'll give it a go, since I've never watched a drama on Mon/Tue. I want to see if something happens between Mystery Shopper's fiance and her best friend.
There's so many people in this drama, it's going to take me a long time to figure everything out.

Is that girl really mellow, or traumatized? I'd be a nervous wreck if my dad screamed at me like that all the time.

Whew-had to watch it again during the daytime. So many people-I had to copy out the list from Koreanwiz to help figure it out. The list doesn't explain why the driver, Oh Ki-beom, called the woman in the back seat "aunt" (Seo-young's mother, also Hana's mother). The only other Oh is the wife of the bankrupt brother.
These people are really affectionate. It's the only drama that I've seen with a lot of hugging.

I especially love all the "may I hug you" talk; it makes people seem so lonely in their sorrows. I liked Ji-yeun talking to a weeping Go-eun, though: "I will hug you now." Pat. Pat. So assertive. I guess we're not really on topic, though--I would be if I'd seen it yet! LOL. Bo

You're right, Bo, I remember that scene, and it went just like that. So funny. "You poor thing, I will hug you now." Oh! GC--let's ask Teacher how to say, "I will hug you now."

This show has some well known actors but production value is lacking.
I know KBS is having some financial problems but come on.

There's so much money trouble, it's depressing. Hope the new restaurants do well, or something. Guess things have to improve, maybe, I feel like I'm sinking into depression or something, dragging like Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh.
And Yeo-jin's father, Cha, I'm hating him. He'd better have some reason to be such a ghastly bully or I might make a voodoo doll or something.
The knitting woman who lost her child, she really hates the fried chicken guy, but maybe his older son, who isn't his son really, is HER son and they lied about giving him up for adoption. ?? (How could they do that anyway, without the approval of the mother?) The cute rich girl who is pretending to be poor is fun to watch, tho, and the college graduate who washes cars is cute and sweet.

This show has some well known actors but production value is lacking. I know KBS is having some financial problems but come on. Not everything can be or needs to be a blockbuster. I just started watching this. At episode 3... I'm a long time fan of Park Sunyoung, and I'm happy to be able to see her. I heard that this is a heartwarming family type of drama. With high ratings around 30% and extention from original 30 episodes to 60 episodes, I guess I can't go too wrong about this one.

Oooh, Donilpark, if it's extended to 60 episodes from 30, you've got me worried. I don't think it's ever an improvement to stretch out the original vision of the writer. Even DJG barely got away with it.
Well, I don't want to judge before I see it. Yes, I'm STILL finishing up YSS! LOL. I hope I like this one...

I usually worry about extending shows too, but I think this one is ok. They had 30 episodes original, and then they made it 50 episodes, and then they added 10 more to come at the projected 60 episodes now. And even with the extensions, ratings are high and it's getting good reviews. At least it will be good until the original 30 episodes, because I remember that people's reactions were very good. The thing with this kind of drama is that it shows everyday life of the characters, so there isn't really a set point where the story should wrap-up and end just like in our real life. It's all at the discretion of the writer, where he or she wants to end the story. Historical shows might have a definite end, say, when the main character dies. Or other short series with specific main event may also be difficult to extend when that main conflict is resolved and things are tied togather. (unless they drag it in the middle) If nothing else, the extensions and ratings at least tell me that this is popular. So...
