It's ok, MasterCrabby. You can watch Masterpiece Theatre's The Virgin Queen (bout Queen Elizabeth I of course). Sunday at 9, PBS (I assume you get Channel 13 or perhaps that WMHT?)

I think I might be receiving some Lamaze coaching there. But actually, Ginnycat, I was quoting the theme song back to MasterCrabby--the theme song that he dislikes so very much.

If all I had to complain about was the theme song, I wouldn't bother. Look, I'm sure this show has many good features.
Consider the wild spectrum of relationships and activities involved in the historical dramas. Unlike some folks, I consider The Age of Warriors to be hands down the best TV ever. YSS had many good moments and a couple dozen episodes which were up to AOW standards.
The standard dramas show me little, and ask too much.

I didn't get into YSS too much, but I enjoyed the other historical (& hysterical) dramas. If they thought it was too early to re-run birth of the empire, they sould re-run Bodyguard, I only have the last few episodes on tape. A good cop/bodyguard show is better than " I love you but your family raises pigs in the living room and my family sells unused toilets!!!'" It's like a car wreck--- you shouldn't look but you can't look away. I'll sut up now. Mucho Sojo Table 3 Por Favor?!?!

I assume this is subtitled, so I've opened up a new board. Here's info previously posted by Knov1 on the YSS board: 슬픔이여 안녕 (Farewell to Sorrow) length: 50 episodes official site: www.kbs.co.kr/drama/goodbyekoreanwiz: www.koreanwiz.org/at/drama-goodbyesadness.htmlCast: Lee Jong Won, Oh Yeon Soo, Park Sun Young, Kim Dong Wan, Kyun Mi Ri, Kang Nam Gil, Kim Il Woo, Choi Ran, Kim Eun Sook, Seo Hoo, Yang Jung Ah, Lee Hye Sook, Lee Ji Min, Kang Boo Ja, Han Jin Hee, Jung Jae Soon, Shin Dong Wook, Jang Yong, Yoon Yeon Jung, Ahn Jung Hoon, Seo Young Hee Lee Jong WonOh Yeon SooPark Sun YoungKim Dong WanSummary/Drama InfoThis is a story about the unconditional and all-forgiving love of four brothers who after years of fighting and hatred pull together and reconcile to revive their father’s business. The four brothers, each representing different generations, symbolize ordinary people living in today’s world: Han Sung-jae, the soft-hearted but incapable oldest brother in his 50s, who shoulders the heavy burden of being the head of the family; Han Sang-kyu, the accomplished but selfish second brother in his 40s, who only thinks of getting rid of his family responsibilities; Han Sung-min, the third brother in his 30s who lost his job due to corporate restructuring; and, finally, Han Jung-woo, the youngest one who has just graduated from college and is yet unemployed. The lives of these four siblings represent the hardships of the unemployed of various generations. This series also asks the question about the genuine meaning of marriage by showing how married couples of various age groups work on their relationships to avert divorce. NoteAccording to KBS, this drama is supposed to be 50 episodes long. It hasn't ended yet in Korea (episodes 46 & 46 air this weekend) so we'll have to wait and see if that's true or not. AGAIN - THANKS for this info to KNOV1.So at this point I had to wait in months to see a new histroy drama. Well I watch America's Most Wanted during this time on Saturday. And Watch Family Guy & American Dad on Sunday. Thanks for the info.

Didn't you mean it to be funny? Or an elbow in the ribs, sorta? OH! Stupid me! I misread your original post, ginny. I thought that you said, "Blow, blow, Lucy," because you read my note to MasterCrabby as if I were really agitated about something. Hence the "Lamaze" interpretation of your message for Bo, which only confused things. I think we're all squared away now. Yup, I did mean it to be a naughty kind of funny. A low blow.

A low blow, eh? Not as low as the ratings for "Farewell to Sorrow" will be as compared with the historical dramas I've seen here, nor as low as the number of posts this show will get.
Insomnia a problem? Try "Farewell to Sorrow", it's guaranteed, and definitely not addictive.
