Wow, she really is one gorgeous young woman! Maybe the most stunning K-babe I’ve seen in quite a while! I guess I really didn’t start to appreciate her beauty until she became more of a major character (with the start of episode #3).
And it looks like she’s got pretty good pitching form, too! Any chance that the Cubbies might pick her up as a free agent next season? ;D

Isn't Gong a Chinese name? Or do I just not know as much about Korean names as I think I do?

Chang is also supposed to be a chinese name, go figure! Well, we would have to know the actual pronounciation in their respective languages. I don't know about Chinese but "Chang" is the same as "Jang" in Korean. The "CH.." sound and "J" are interchangable since neither is completely accurate to the original Korean pronounciation. Here are other Korean last names that are the same in Korean but look different in English.. Park: Pak, Bak or I've even seen "Bark" once. IMO it also sounds a lot like "Bach". Of couse, this doesn't mean that they are also German. See my point? ;D Lee: Rhee: Yi: Li :Yee Choi:Chae:Che.....Here the Korean doesn't sound anything like "Choi" because people pronounce it as "Choy". "Chae" or "Che" sounds most accurate. Kim:Ghim:Khim...."Kim" is the most common spelling I've seen. Chun:Jun:Juhn:Jeon Ahn:An Bang:Pang:Bahng Jo:Cho Ko:Goh:Go Han:Hahn Noh:Roh:No....The Korean sounds more like "noh" I don't know how they came up with "Roh" as an alternative.
