A lot has happened since the last episode. I thought Andrea was only going to be in Italy for a year and then come back to Eunha, but how did that turn into several years? What was the voiceover of WooJin saying something about that monastary? Also, what exactly is it that he's guilty of? I really didn't understand that part. Our poor WooJin has turned so cold hearted after Eunha left 2 years ago when she found out there was something wrong with her heart. When they were in the restaurant and she said that she did forget it all, did she mean Andrea? I wonder if she really did start to love WooJin like that, but apparently, it seems as if she loves Andrea even more. Is it me or does the grown-up WooJin look a little thinner? I love his doctor look. The guy on the rollerblades was pretty cute too.

There was some allusion to an unsavory relationship with a woman at the monastery, no? I can't remember if I saw this episode or read the synopsis (I'm starting to feel sick like my kids are aaarrrggghhh; I hope to god I don't get my daughter's all day vomiting so my find is getting foggy).
Where's my hot Korean hunk to bring me "medicine"? I'll take Dr. Lee Woojin, please! heh-heh. ;D

Andrea was waiting for Eunha's letter, and if he got one, he would come back after a year, but she didn't send one, that's why he stayed a long time in Italy.. When Eunha said she forgot it all, it's true that she meant Andrea...(but obviously she didn't forget him) I love this episode, I just admire Ji Jin Hee (Woo Jin)'s acting skills so much here...such a sudden change in character! I agree that he suits the doctor look so much as well... it really seemed as if Woo Jin (Ji Jin Hee) was the one that was showing to the audience that a long time has passed, through his change in character..great acting!

^^ i meant what's Andrea guilty of? the people at the monastary were voting on whether or not he's guilty A girl started to like him and she attempted suicide and he started to turn cold and turned inward. Rather difficult to help people if you are scared of everyone now.

Okay am I the only one that was upset during this episode? First of all Andrea decides to leave Eunha a letter telling her he loves her and he would come back to her in a year if she wants him to. What the heck is wrong with him? Obviously he knows that she loves him, so why postpone them being together? Why go to the monastery in Italy then? And then, the letter he leaves her looks like the letter that she had written for him? Is he stupid? What were the odds of her even reading that letter? She might've thrown it away thinking it was the letter she had written. OMG, seriously I wanted to scream at Andrea for leaving. Okay and why in the world would he tell Woojin about the letter. Did he not know that Woojin was in love with Eunha? What is wrong with him? He should've just gone to Eunha, told her he loved her, and gotten married. Why in the world would he leave to Italy for a year, when anything can happen in that time? OH and then Woojin goes and steals the letter? What the heck I seriously think Woojin is psycho and has issues. I mean I understand that he was upset because Eunha left after they had gotten engaged, but did he have to slap her? I cried during this episode. I felt horrible for Eunha and Andrea. They are not together because of Woojin and that letter. Though it's also Andrea's fault, for not telling her that he loved her in person, and for choosing to leave to Italy. Is Andrea sick? There was a part where they mentioned something about his heart condition. And as we already know Eunha also has a heart disease. As for the time frame, it has to be a few years that have gone by, because Yuri is already grown up. So Andrea was at the Monastery for a year, he didn't hear from Eunha so continued to stay there and became a doctor. Oh I am just so upset, that so much time has passed by and they are still not together. I don't know who I'm more mad at, Woojin or Andrea (sorry for venting out my anger here, I have nobody else to discuss this with) This is the difference between Korean dramas and other dramas. I feel like watching the Korean dramas has made be become so attached to the characters and actually feel for them. I don't think I've ever cried during a American or Mexican soap opera, or thought about the characters during work as I do w/watching the Korean shows.

Several years looks more that 2-3 years but more like 8-10 years or so. First how much older Yuri's character is and it takes a quite a few years to become a doctor especially a surgeon like Woojin is. For some reason I don't remember Andrea having a heart condition. I thought I heard that he was practicing as a heart doctor (cardiologist). With Eunha having a heart condition looks like foreshadowing to me.

The scene I'm talking about is where he walks out of a room, and there is a little girl there, so as he bends down and is about the hug her, he holds back. In the background you hear someone saying something like "because of his heart condition he doesn't want to touch others." I didn't understand what that meant.
And yes it has to be alot of years that have passed by. Hey I think the guy that knocked Yuri down was probably the little boy who knocked down the logs at the orphanage.

I think it meant heart ache not a medical condition. He is having difficulties being himself since the incident of the girl's attempted suicide. I thought the same thing about the guy rollerblading is the same guy she met when she was younger.

Really? Talk about De-ja Vu. I mean, I really cried during this episode. Outraged was I, like Alexa, when Woo-jin slapped EA. I mean, people don't just go around slapping people because of their jealously issues... And in the teaser, who's this nun, you think? She looks questionable, like she could like Andrea, the handsome priest.... BAD BAD BAD

Why did Dr. Woojin ask for the waiting list of heart transplant recipients? Whyever (is that a word?) he asked for it, obviously when he sees it he's going to know why Eun-ha left him.
The main thing Andrea is supposedly guilty of was contributing to that unnamed woman's crush on him and subsequent suicide attempt. That and the fact that he's now afraid to get close to parishioners/his flock are the reasons why his suitability to be a priest is now being questioned.
I might be the only one, but I'm feeling like this is a bit of an anachronism now (which it wasn't really when Love Letter was first broadcast). I think the feeling is now more general that priests should keep their hands off the faithful and be careful about their personal relationships, because of all the scandal.

I don't think I've ever cried during a American or Mexican soap opera, or thought about the characters during work as I do w/watching the Korean shows. I think that Woojin is a sickie who has some serious emotional problems--he doesn't love Eunha--he is obsessed with her. He's an angry, violent man who seems to be following in his father's footsteps. Look at the way he spoke to his mother at the hospital. And striking Eunha without any show of subsequent remorse. Visiting prostitutes. What a jerk! Maybe Andrea had to go to Italy because the orphanage paid for his med school and he signed an agreement with them as a condition for his getting thru med school. The costs of med school make upper middle class people broke--an orphan? Somebody somewhere had to foot the bill for his education and I'll bet it was the church. I refuse to get as involved with this series as I was with Winter Love Song. These dramas can get pretty intense. I stopped watching My Sweetheart because I found it too sad. I hope that this drama, too, isn't as relentless.

Okay, I'm confused now b/c I missed an episode, read a detailed synopsis and then watched the rerun today (ep. 7). Is that what aired Wed eve/Thur. afternoon (Aug 10/11)?
Anyway, yeah, the guy on rollerblades would almost have to be the kid from the orphanage who knocked down the woodpile, b/c of the way he seemed to only know how to sign "I'm sorry" (and not "are you okay? ... what's your name?" etc.). Remember as children he asked Yuri how to sign I'm sorry and then she walked away?
Whoa! Visiting prostitutes? I missed that one!
I'm disappointed Jung Woojin is turning out to be a totally embittered jerk. sigh True he's been through a lot, but there's a thing called emotional maturity that you achieve in life (or go to counseling to learn)! Slapping her, and treating his mom like crap is just wrong. I think, on the surface, he seems like someone seeking validation from other people rather than feeling it from inside.
Does anyone think it's just a coincidence that Andrea is a talented heart surgeon and his beloved needs a heart transplant???
And yeah, the new nun looked like Eunha to me! Speaking of nuns, the "old" nun, was she is Dae Jan Geum?

Yes, that was episode 7 on Wed. night. The prostitute thing we learned from a female friend of his who said, "I heard you visit the red-light district."
I do think that Woojin 2 loves her, but he is also obsessed with keeping her, especially keeping her away from Andrea. It's more jealousy than obsession with her, I think. Notice how calm and ordinary and happy he seemed when he did have her? He wasn't all creepy-intense and possessive. It's only when he feels the shadow of Andrea that he gets scary about it--and I have the feeling that he's going to get worse now that Andrea is back.

when Woojin slapped Eunha you could see how much he's been through all those years without her... she left without a word..and for him she is his life..
Woojin also feels betrayed..because his mum said to him that whenever she called him "woojin" she was thinking of her real son... (Andrea) for Woojin, his mother was all he had in his life, and then he finds out (or he thinks) that the love his mum gave him so far was not entirely for him.. even though Woojin's love for his mum was so sincere and real and entirely for her only.. (like he still loves his "step mother" instead of missing his "real mother"..)
