What a finale! I couldn't have asked for much more suspense! Drama, comedy,pathos...what a show! So many memorable scenes...Kyung-min repeating Hye-Ryun's accusations about Jung-Eun sleeping her way to prosperity--the trio meeting in Doon-Joon's apartment---Jung-Eun having the courage to go to England---the reaction of Jung-Eun's father on the roof-top, he KNEW that Kyung-Min loved J-E and I think he was rooting for him! I also loved the scene when he told Jung-Eun that he was never embarrassed by her! What a great dad!
So they met again(Jung-Eun/Kyung-Min) one year later? I thought she was going for two years?? And it was apparent to Doon-Joon that he didn't have a chance after she returned. I liked when he told her that he couldn't go to dinner with her because he had to feed his cat!!!! To me, he was telling her to go find Her "Cat", Kyung-Min!!!
And Kyung-Min keeping that roof-top apartment! What a great love story. I didn't want it to end! :'(

So they met again(Jung-Eun/Kyung-Min) one year later? Jung Eun and Dong Jun hadn't seen each other for a year. I'm happy you Chicago folks have finally seen the ending. I loved this series and its ending, although some of the California board had more lukewarm feelings about the end. (And now that I no longer have to worry about spoiling things for you folks, I promise I'll post the images for episodes twelve through sixteen soon, I promise.)

YES! True love, mature love, does indeed triumph.
The writers did a terrific job ... they warmed my heart to Kyuing-Min. He grew up....
And in DJ's genuine love for Jung-Eun, he gave JE a her lifetime gift to do something for herself.... in so doing, the by-products of her disciplines and new-life experience forced KM and HR to grow up.
wonderful ending. LOL at the tuna breakfast "what's this, the Last Supper?" That, and the fact that he praised himself for being able to pack/unpack in less than 5 minutes.
I will surely miss all these folks coming into my living room on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I share the lukewarm feelings that the California board mentioned. I kind of wanted everybody to end up happy (except Hyeran) but then I kind of figures that it wouldn't be consistent w/the way the story was written. I can't really say that KM matured much. Also, he said that he would probably always remain immature. I felt the most sorry for DJ who was probably hoping throughout all that year that JE would finally accept his love. But then again if they hadn't talked in over a year then maybe he was already starting to get over her. This ending kind of reminds me of the one for Love Letter. It was so sweet that he took the ring out first and she also kept hers with her at all times. I'm just not sure I like the message that it sends, "Even if a guy treats you like crap, true love will triumph in the end" Maybe I need to see the ending again to see if I change my perception.

I don't have much against the ending, but it didn't inspire great feelings in me either way. I was disappointed in KM, who apparently will never change (much) and knows it, and in the fact that JE will accept him this way finally. It was cute that they were together at the end, but when I think about what they were doing as the camera pulled away--fighting for the 10 millionth time--I have to say, are we supposed to think that they are going back to their old ways forever? That's kind of sad. Basically, we're back to square one, except that now JE knows he loves her. Maybe they were just playing, like puppies or like (the stereotype of) guys who can't show tenderness. Since fighting and making up was what they always did, I guess that's the way they reaffirm their bond. It's just evidence, though, that they didn't grow all that much, beyond KM having more responsibility and JE becoming a professional and wearing nicer clothes.
But it was a fun series with lots of charm, and I suppose it couldn't have ended up any other way except with the two of them together. I just wish we had seen some evidence that they are not going to drive each other crazy for the rest of their lives; after all, that's always what made Jung-eun so unhappy in the past!

I'm happy that Kyung-min and Jung-eun met again after a year. The ending was great.
As for Dong-joon telling Jung-eun that he had to go and feed his cat at home, what did that mean? At first I though Dong-joon was saying that he had someone (possibly a significant other) @ home waiting for him. But then I assumed it was Dong-joon's way of letting Jung-eun go. When Jung-eun turned around when hearing someone call out her name, Dong-joon realized that even after a year, Jung-eun did not get over Kyung-min. That also means that no matter what, Jung-eun will never get over Kyung-min because she loves him too much.
Hye-ryun looked like she matured (style-wise). But during her blind date, she kept on glancing over at Kyung-min smiling shyly. I don't know if that means she's interested in Kyung-min or she is just happy to see him again.
The rings scene between Jung-eun and Kyung-min at the end was so touching. It made me a little sad, but then Kyung-min had to go and goof something up and the tone of the drama changed to a happy-laughing one. It looks like Kyung-min hasn't matured one bit, but that's just his character. He's so goofy. Although it did make Jung-eun unhappy and miserable, that's the Kyung-min she fell in love with. No matter how much he drives her crazy, he has his moments where he can be a sweetheart.

i thought they matured after her trip....it gave them time to actually value each other and think clearly without the other one bursting out of nowhere and having daily fights. this whole drama has a been full of twists, turns, laughs, tears, screams.....i really don't want to let it go...i wish it could go on forever....but it can't T_T...and besides...we'd probably die after 100 episodes of this (or i might XD) kyung min might not have matured to what we might have expected, but he matured in his character, and he was able to keep his dorky self...but still be serious. all in all.....the ending was happy-sad....aren't they all? ^_^

I was happy with the final episode, my favorite part was the very last shot, with them hugging on the rooftop. CCWF, if you can find a still shot of that scene I'd be so happy! That scene, and when Kyung-min was practicing what to say to Jung-eun, and he did that heart-shaped YMCA thing with his arms and said "I lub you Jung-eun!" That was cute.

No, because, as jenny noted (and I'll post a picture of in a few days), after the camera pulls away, as the credits roll, they stop fighting and hug. That's not something they did before. Their relationship is clearly different now.

i thought it was an OK ending i expected a little more. I think that he really changed the only reason he said those things is because he knows that she likes taking care of him and helping him out and he probably was trying to remind her of old times. but over all it was OK although i expected a little more i was left thinking did it end?

I think I might be the only one that wasn't truly satisfied with the ending. So JungEun goes away for a year (I thought it was going to be 2) and finds KyungMin living in their apartment, that I thought was cute. BUT what about them, what about their relationship? Are they going to finally get married? Is she finally going to accept him just the way he is? I have a feeling that when he told her that he had alot of credit debt, that he was just joking with her, but I wish they would've expanded on that and shown that KyungMin had indeed mature to a certain degree (I think he's always going to be a goofy person) and that they did end up together. I really wish they would've at least shown them getting married.
A thought just came to me, KyungMin might not have changed that much. When he went on his date he pulled the same stunt he did on HyeRun a while back, telling her that he had been at another part of restaurant waiting for her the whole time, while he had actually just walked in late and was trying to cover up the fact that he was late.

:)Actually, this is only a light hearted comedy series and every episode was a lot of fun to watch. Even my mother loved it. The 2 main characters are so cute and adorable--their personalities and their attitudes toward life--I hope Love Letters is just as much fun to watch.

I hope Love Letters is just as much fun to watch. Nope. It's a sad, frustrating drama (was for me anyway) - pretty emotional. I refuse to buy it and add it to my collection. It has a LOT of Catholic references (for those who like/don't like it) because it's about a priest. Melissa

I agree with you, Alexa. It's one thing to watch the "happy" ending, it's quite another thing to live in that kind of relationship. Although KM was cute and appealing, the lying was NOT and he typifies the "dangerous, desirable Bad boy" we're all warned to stay away from and yet many of us are drawn/have been drawn towards someone like this. Charming cad, funny warm tale but one that is ultimately unsatisfactory.
