Geez, it's been days since Ki-joon was hit by the truck, and no one's mentioned it Has everyone gotten to the point where they don't care if one of the lead characters lingers in a coma, his life in the balance? OK, that was way overstated, but still, it's a major plot event.

Actually, Soju, yes, you hit the nail on the head. I really don't care!
I will say, though, that as angry as I've gotten at Screech Mom over the decades that we've been watching "My Sweetheart" for the way she scapegoats In-young for whatever happens to Ki-joon, in this case I agree with her. It is IY's fault that KJ got hit by the truck. If she hadn't been doing that ridiculous "Oh, I'm SO sad, I don't see or hear anything around me" walk, she would have had sense enough not to walk into the street without looking. Really, how self-indulgent.

Really, how self-indulgent. I'm not blaming In-young for her near-death experience, because she has been under so much pressure lately, trying to choose between hurting the man she really loves and hurting the wonderful JM and his adorable son. There's no good resolution but one has to be found anyway. She really should have been discussing this problem with her elders and not tried to deal with it on her own. Grandpa and Aunt are so calm, they would help her to feel better, I think, if only by getting it out into the open.

Yes, could IY have been walking any slower as she crossed in front of the truck? If she had not been so spaced out, she would have crossed the street in plenty of time to avoid beng hit.

ScreechMom really is too much! She faults In-young for getting a ride to the hospital with JM to sit at HER son's bedside. Man, I could see her being ticked off if IY was engaged to KJ and sat at the bedside of another man all day, but getting a ride from her own fiance, while carrying SM's grandchild, sheesh, lay off, you git! Poor Him-chan, I felt so sorry for him today. JM didn't even smile all day, either.

I have to say that it was sad enough for me to pity him and SM and I was angry at SM for blaming IY even tough she had that dying dog face. But it's getting ridiculous, I was watching the drama with my family and I got so angry at IY that I threw a book at the T.V. my family got startled but agreed 100% with me. She wants KJ to wake up but she doesn't say anything. She's such a Dumb @$$. I want it to be over already.

I don't blame In-young for anything except for constantly saying "I'm sorry". However, this show is dragging on and on.
I think that IY will marry JM when she realizes that KJ will remain in a coma forever. SM will continue to blame everyone but still fail to realize that she's at fault. She'll be forever at his bedside reaping what she had sown.

I am so irritated in Inyuong just looking at Kijoon and T H I N K I N G instead of talking. Years back I was a hospice volunteer and we were told to encourage family members to speak to to their loved ones. When my own mom was dying I just sat and looked at her (like Inyoung) and my cousin very firmly told me to talk to her and let her know how much you love her.
... so then, if Inyoung is out to win the Miss Mope Award, I would say she's in the lead. This is getting as draggy as My Precious Child/Family. Get the hook!

Why does either man love In-young so passionately, anyway? Because she's pretty? She is certainly polite and kind, but she has the personality of a dishrag. These guys must be projecting their needs onto her, which is easy to do since she's such a blank slate. Ugh, she is so incredibly dull and boring. At least in My Precious Child, Hee-soo had a funny little personality, even though she wasn't that entertaining, either. She at least talked and did things instead of letting herself be talked to and dragged around like an object and moping all the time.

A little off the subject here . . . but I'm surprised to see that Korean motorists don't seem to be required to stop for people crossing the street at a plainly-marked crosswalk.
Okay, I'll admit that In-young was crossing at a snail's pace . . . but still, the truck driver responded to her presence by blasting his horn at her and flashing his headlights - as if to say "Get out of my way, you stupid, slow-moving woman!!!!!!!" ;D

LOL If you walk around in a trance instead of looking out for yourself - expect to get some sort of shock .. like truck hitting you ... ;D

Here's another thing ... I don't know about you, but whenever I've gone to see someone ... who is especially critically ill .... in the hospital, my clothing of choice is ALWAYS something along the lines of sheer black netting.
And where are the doctors when people are fainting or falling down?
And what's this magical alexier that everyone seems to take ... where you tear open a little pouch and dump the contents into your mouth... like airline peanuts.
And stupid HeeJoo who is nuts enought to ask Kijoon why he 'did this' They're all candidates for the Mopey/Dope finalists.
