Sun-mi will probably get with Mr. Noh (Jae-min's friend). Yeah, I really want Mi-jung and In-chul to be together. In-chul and Sun-mi are not right for each other. I love how Mi-jung and In-chul bicker endlessly...it's cute and a sign that these two are meant to be together.

Yes, it's a sign. Isn't how Granny and Gramps were in the beginning? Look where they are now!

I think In-chul just wants to date Mi-jung because she is a college student/graduate and because she's the manager. I think it's a money issue.

In-chul sees Mi-jung in a new light. Before she was this annoying girl who was basically chasing after him, "I'm pregnant with your baby!" but now he sees that she's changed for the better. I think he is proud of her for accomplishing so much for herself. Maybe that's why he is starting to like her?

once in-chul got over himself and started looking at mi-jung as a person he started likeing her. right now its still in "friendship" mode but u can tell he has feelings for her because everytime that other guy come around mi-jung, in-chul gets an attitude. maybe the relationship started off wrong because they moved to fast in the begining but over the years he developed a deep respect for her. i cant wait until they get married (you know its gonna happen )

I think you guys are right about the various reasons why he's noticing Mi-jung again, but I think another big reason is that he's been rejected by Sun-mi and is feeling now like it's a good thing to have someone who's interested you and cares about you. Not so annoying anymore now that you've been dumped, huh, In-chul? I read somewhere that this is In-chul's (the actor's, that is) first big acting job and that he gets tips from Grandpa. I think he's doing a really good job, especially for a newcomer. Much better than Eric did in "Phoenix," which was his first time out. In-chul seems very much at home in front of the camera and expresses different emotions well. BTW, isn't he being so nice to his big sis? He brought her all those groceries and made little jokes about it: "Eat these cherry tomatoes for snacks. Eat the cookies while watching TV." Aww.

Wait, i'm confused.. I missed yesterday's episode, can someone give me a fill-in, and ps: i kinda liked eric from phoenix, for some reason. I think the actress wasn't giving it her all, the girl from the bungee jumping show...

Mostly what happened was In-Kyung left for America to study language. In-Young went to the airport with In-Chul and Aunt to see her off. While entering the airport, they passed Hee-Joo arriving back in Korea. then In-Young went home with Aunt and dropped the bombshell that she's getting divorced. After spending the night at her dad's house, she's back home.
Ki-Joon shows up stinking drunk at In-Young's apt. and passes out the second she gets him to the bed (she sits on the chair, watching him sleep). The next morning, Screechy Mama notices he's gone, calls his hand phone and he's still passed out so he doesn't answer. Then she calls In-Young as she' making breakfast for her and Ki-Joon, to see if she knows where he is; IY looks at caller id and doesn't pick up. When In-Young waked him up, he starts crying about how much he's missed her and hugs her. Eventually he grabs her and kisses her, her slightly resisting. Then they cut to them eating breakfast and her reminding him she asked him not to stop in, please don't anymore.
IY goes jogging and runs into Jae-Min (is that his name? the guy whose wife died). He asks why she's jogging there, and she says she was just in the area. He buys her a soft drink, and he asks if she'll be there again tomorrow. She says she doesn't know, but he says if she is, he'll buy her a drink again, so please come.
Screechy Mama goes to KJ's work to ask where he was all night. She insists they should not give IY any alimony. KJ tells her that IY never asked for any. Then SM says she should give them money to pay back for all the expensive fertility treatments. (Then I had to go help my 2 year old and missed a few lines of dialogue.)
In-Chul goes grocery shopping and runs into Mi-Jung (is that her name? his ex who was a clerk and went to college), who is now a manager at the store. He's buying a lot of groceries, and she comments he should just buy enough for one day and then come back the next day for more, so things will be fresher. Then you see he's brought them to In-Young, and he very lovingly teases her about how/when to eat each food. "You use this convenience rice in the microwave, if you don't feel like cooking". Sun-Mi is there too (I think?) At this time, Screechy Mama calls IY on her hand phone and asks if they could meet. IY looks stunned. Close up, end of show
"To be continued ...."
I wonder if KJ and IY made love when he kissed her, and then she gets pregnant but in the mean time, before she realizes it, she falls for the other guy and they get engaged!
What is Sreechy Mama gonna say to her??
Oh, the suspense!

I feel sorry for in-young, now that she has her freedom Ki-joon is starting to come around more often. I also wonder if they slept together while he was drunk and he went to her house. We'll have to see. As for mi-Jung and in-chul, i think in-chul is noticing mi-Jung because she has matured greatly and is more responsible. I don't think is a money thing or position because after all he is not that type of person. As for Sun-mi, she's an alcoholic she needs help and after the way she treats In-chul she deserves to stay a spinster. But i have a feeling she's going to stay with Mr. Noh.

I also wonder if Ki-joon and In-young slept together that time when he went to her house. In the morning, he like grabbed her in a hug and then a kiss. The next scene was breakfast. KJ wasn't wearing his outer jacket so that could be a sign, but who knows.

Thanks for the re-cap Catalpa. I appreciate it. But, that whole grab kiss.... scene could've meant that IY and KJ 'did it'. It's sad though, what if she gets pregnant and then realizes that when she's dating Jae-min... Not a spoiler because we know it's been coming for a while.

At least if it happened that way, it would get rid of the judgment we've been fearing that In-young was unfaithful to Jae-min. (I agree that KJ's grabbing her may mean he's having his way with her, whether she agrees or not.)

dont you guys know most korean men? they are very touchy, and forceful with women. Just because kijoon, grabed in young and kissed her, does not mean they slept together., especiallybeing how stubborn in young has been about him being around her.
back to the mi-jung/ inchul/ sunmi- I really think that Inchul and Mi-jung make a good couple. this sunmi character needs to move on with her life the moment she said that she's not interested in him. Inchul even though it may not seem like it ,is trying to get over sunmi, but she keeps calling him. So I think sunmi is starting to realize she really does like inchul, but is afraid for some reason to commit/ yet she can't let go of him, especially when she refered to him as her boyfriend in front of her coworkers.
Inchul nees to stop giving in to sunmi's every beck and call, and that way when he does stop, he 'll be able to see Mi-young standing there loving him all along.
i don't like sun-mi for inchul because she keeps playing games with inchul's heart, even though they get along so well, they should just remain friends, like they both agreed while they were getting drunk.
